reduced from £79.99 to £69.99 in O2 shops ...however

...look for the £20 off ANY PAYG phone over £49.99 special stores offer poster to bring the cost down to £49.99. It was marked as this week only but did not have a date on it.

    Only £59.99 @ play.com with free p&p

    http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/1121270/Sony-Ericsson-K750i-On-Vodafone-Prepay/Product.html

It's on Vodafone so will need to be unlocked, not too sure if the O2 PAYG ones already come unlocked.

Also you get the rare silver colour!

if your phone is CID49 (most new ones), just get the W800i main firmware from here, and XS++ from here.

follow the rest of the guide here. ignore the bits about custom packs and the FS (file system) and patches. You just flash the main to the phone. when its done disconnect the cable and take the battery out for a couple of mins, then put it back in and power it up. you should see a startup menu.

if XS++ hangs on finishing flash, look here

if you want the k750i firmware back, just get a k750i main firmware and flash it back.

never unlocked an SE before (only nokias by code). but the likes of SEtool and cruiser can unlock these easily. a local unlocker should be able to do it for you for about £5-£15

o2 contract phones are unlocked, but im pretty sure all payg ones are locked.

you can use a virgin sim in a tmobile locked phone, so if you can find one on tmobile, you wouldn't have to get it unlocked
