Lunch eaten and baking sampled ;) kids are bored. Might paint their faces... There is a fun day at a new Mr A a few miles away but not sure i can face the crowds today. So we might just have to do our own instead...

I've hoovered upstairs and under all the beds, got a bag to take t the chairty shop. Just having a cuppa then I may do a bit in the garden or get DH to drop me to the chairty shop as it is a tricky to park nearby on Saturday.

Woody had a young blackbird, it has hopped away but Dad has not come back for it. Woody is now under house arrest much to his disgust.

Oh WM no4 just finished, need to play shuffle the washing around the lines.

Carpet washing finished on the bottom level for the moment. I'd like to pull the beds out and do under them both, but won't have time before the next guests arrive. I knew I wouldn't, so I'm kind of okay with that. One quarter of the half landing near the kitchen done, the very worst bit in the whole house. Now that I've started with the bi$$el I might gradually work my way around the house on hot days.
    Better is good enough.

Nice shawl and cupboard, Pigpen - you have a lot to show for your week's flying and crafting :)

I am trying to design and print out various resources for the course. Have made some progress today, but didn't manage to get everything done in time to catch today's post, so will now be working on it for most of the rest of the weekend.

Not feeling anything like 100% fit - was very tired because of another bad night with shoulder pain, and dozed for much of the afternoon while DH was out :(
I hope the physiotherapist receives my MRI results soon and can start treating me. The dust is building up on the black bookshelves, the garden needs TLC (especially after another shower this evening which the weeds will have enjoyed) and we need to get back to Aquafit.

My ten minute snooze turned into an hour then I forced myself to carry on with the weeding although still had the headache. Then I had another nap for over an hour and the headache is finally receding. Quite happy with what I actually achieved today all things considered. DH is now making tea.

We've been up the road at DS friends all afternoon. Sipping tea, and having a good natter with friends mum, boys running crazy, and his older sister is lovely with DD and had her dressed up as Belle before the kettle had boiled :T
I think DD either has a touch of hayfever or is sickening for something. She's absolutely done in. Gave her a dose of antihistamine and said its bedtime, she couldn't get upstairs quick enough, bless her.

I've half done the kitchen after dinner, so a bit more to do, plus there are small clothes flung all over the LR floor... And 3 of my gels have popped off my nails. Thinking I've missed a step here - not sure what but will do them again...

    Evening all.

Pigpen - love the blanket & cupboard :D

DD has been out for the day at a charity car wash for school and has come home sunburnt. She ignored me telling her repeatedly to put suncream on so its her own fault! She's now smothering herself in aloe vera after sun :rotfl:

I have spent the day working on the ironing pile. Its 3/4 done but I've had to keep stopping between sore feet & getting too hot :o

DD is out tomorrow with ex so I can get on with jobs then. I will clear the ironing pile tonight while its cool ;)

Seems our DDs are having 'fun' in the sun or not flyladies. My DD (no longer a child) came back from Scout camp soaking wet and with insect bites. She's now fast asleep on the settee and DH is asleep at the table. I'm feeling fine now, so will take a leaf out of Bossy's book and do my nails, not gel though, more weeding tomorrow so would be a waste of effort.
