Attempted to cancel subscription, but charged regardless

I signed up for loveaholics.com using a 3 day trial membership. When I noticed the site was not up to much, I emailed them multiple times (and phoned once) but could not get them to cancel my subscription.
They have now charged me £45 for a months subscription, and I still cannot get in touch with them.
Is there a way to get the £45 back? I paid by Visa Debit with the Bank of Scotland.
Thanks

What does their cancellation policy say in the T and C;s?"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

Here's the cancellation section:8. CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND CUSTOMER COMPLAINT HANDLING
(A) TERM AND TERMINATION
These terms of use will become effective from the point at which you use the Services as a Guest or registered as a Basic or Paid Member, and will remain in full force and effect unless and until they are terminated.
Your subscription will be automatically renewed on the day your membership expires in accordance with the Automatic Renewal Billing process explained in these terms.
Please note that you must terminate your subscription prior to the end of the subscription period for which you have paid to avoid being charged for the next subscription period. To change or terminate your subscription at any time, please follow the subscription cancellation procedure described in the Help section, or refer to clause 8 (B) “Your rights to cancel at any time” of these Terms of Use to find out more about the subscription cancellation procedure.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to any of the Services, without notice, for any reason. We also reserve the right to remove your account information or data from our Services and any other records at any time at our sole discretion.
If your access to any of the Services is suspended due to any suspected (in our opinion acting reasonably) or actual breach of these terms of use, you agree that all fees paid to us are final and all outstanding or pending payments will immediately be due. Following any termination of your use of the Services, we reserve the right to send a notice explaining such termination to other members you have contacted through the Services.
(B) YOUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL AT ANY TIME
You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. To ensure the security of your account you have to complete all steps of the subscription cancellation procedure in accordance with the security policy of our company. To start your subscription cancellation, enter the “My Account” section, click on the “Billing History” tab and follow our site instructions to proceed. Once you have done this we will send an email with further instructions to the email address you used to register with us. Should you have any questions, contact us by sending an email to: admin@loveaholics.com
(C) 7 DAY CANCELLATION RIGHT (FOR UK RESIDENTS)
Under the United Kingdom Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you can cancel the agreement created through your acceptance of these terms of use within 7 working days after the confirmation of your subscription to any Services and receive a full refund.
However, if you use the Services in any manner after your subscription, you will lose your cancellation right. For avoidance of doubt, Use of the Services in respect of this cancellation right means sending any communication to another user, actively conducting searches of user profiles, viewing photos of other members, or making changes to your profile including your photographs and other publicly visible profile information, or updating or amending any account settings or preferences (unless such settings e.g. email address were inputted incorrectly at sign up and you are seeking to simply amend these entries to be more accurate records).
In the event that any refund is given, this should be refunded within three (3) business days, depending on payment method and other factors that may affect refund time.0 -

Have you done this and did the "further instructions" appear?
The instructions are to phone them, but I did not get an answer. They claim to be available 9-5.
I emailed them through the email in the terms, their support form and the website on my statement (tnwbill.com), but have yet to receive any response.0 -

Contact your bank and flag it as a disputed transaction ... you can give them evidence that you followed the stated T&Cs of the contract (for cancellation) but the company did not abide by their own T&Cs.0

I was also scammed, the procedure to cancel, in their terms and conditions, does not exist, so they have you in a continuous loop!!!
Contact your bank and ask them to stop any further payments to Tnwbill.com, otherwise they will continue to charge you. If you have proof of cancelation notification, you can ask your bank to do a charge back and reclaim any fraudulent monies these scum bags have drawn from people.0 -
Hi there.
I'm in same situation as you were but I've not got any mail with phone number to call them or replies from emails 😡
Could you pass the contact number to me please and be handy if you know of the U.K. Version or if anyone else does at all.
Thanks in advance
