seven-day-weekend wrote: »I ahve had my second meeting with my health coach. In the week sinceI saw her I have lost 4.5 lbs, my blood pressure has gone down and my BMI has dropped by one. She is very pleased with me. I have also been given some vouchers to council-run exercise classes where can go once a week.
May try one tomorrow or Friday.
I am entitled to twelve one-to one session and twelve exercise sessions, but apparently when they have finished I can be referred for another twelve. I am going to see her weekly for the first four and then maybe two-weekly.
I knew the one-to one meetings would motivate me.:):T:T

That dish looks wonderful, LIR! I could definitely face that. I didn't think of biryani either, in fact I might attempt one tonight! Thank you!
Well done SDW! That's fantastic!

Ok, glad to help. But if it doesn't help that's ok too. I don't want you to feel you have to say it looks good;). I was just thinking of expanding on what works and avoiding what definitely doesn't until appetite is stimulated...then expanding. But doesn't necessarily work for you.

An interesting article which suggests that depression may be an allergic reaction. (Not as crazy as it sounds, and may account for some forms of depression.)

Don't worry about rambling MU. I have done it often enough. If it helps get some control over the thoughts write them down here if you want to, we will listen.
The biryani was a success! I can now eat rice, chicken and mushrooms! Mushrooms weren't in the vegetables that I threw up so were fine. I couldn't face anything else with it but it is another food so I am glad.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I felt bouncy at work, some would say hyper. I named the broom Barry. He kept breaking
i think talking to a broom is probably one of the signs of insanity. If it isn't it should be.
Glad your biryani went well. Though mushrooms are a no go for me. I can just about look at them without panicking but i cant touch or eat them (silly irrational mushroom phobia i have)This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
