Pyxis that's ace.
We didn't go out in the end both of us are still shattered.
Called MIL at midnight and the rest of the family had abandoned her so you can imagine her mood we weren't too happy either as we live close so we would have gone over had any of the nasty people said they were going to lie to her.
She isn't very nice but nor is she stupid and not only does she have the same cancer as her daughter but the same bone thing as OH so not very well.
So bit grumpy today am watching monkey world on the sofa with dogs (Froo already told them off)

I'm watching The Dam Busters for the second time in a couple of days! Just love seeing the Lancasters, and I love the old black and white films.

Good afternoon all! How is everyone on this lovely new years day?

I didn't make any resolutions other than to try and do this year what I did last year. I managed things last year that I hadn't for a long time largely thanks to the wonderful support of everyone here so I want to continue that, particularly with tiny trips outside.

In heath news, still ill. Today I was woken by pain shooting down my sides and front on both sides of my body, I also appear to have a UTI now. More water, I think. I would try cranberry juice but I don't think my stomach can cope with acidic stuff. Day 7, should see an improvement by day 10 so getting there!

I made two resolutions.....

1) I will give up doing things I don't fancy doing.

2) I will do lots of things I do fancy doing.

Resolutions sorted.

If you put a spoonful of bicarb in the water that should take the sting away WaS
Don't do resolutions if I was going to they would be around food I think (slipped a bit yesterday)

Don't blame yourself for the odd slip, melly. It will happen sometimes and then you just carry on the next day. You have done so well recently!

It's alkaline and is all those sachets are. It doesn't taste nice though.
Thank you WaS yesterday I ate nothing so major slip not so much the not eating but the fact that it feels good am going to force something down in a minute probably crumpet.

Awwww, I want a doggie snoring in my armpit! I haven't seen that, melly I will have to hunt it down.

I am confused. I have the codeine and Tramadol that I take daily and they have no effect on the chest pain. Plain old Lemsip does which only has paracetamol. It makes no sense, codeine and Tramadol are far stronger. Oh well, I won't knock it if it works!
