I am off tonight to a signal free zone for a few days. And a relative who has turned off the wifi to stop kids watching things they shouldn't (think they managed to bypass the parental controls. )
So everyone have a chilled Christmas and I'll see you all when back in civilisation. Have fun if you can. Or at the very least try not to do anyone a mischief - we all know what families can be like in a confined spaces. Long dog walks may be the saviour of my sanity for the duration - not Gitdog unfortunately who looked very reproachful as he arrived at the kennels.
Have a mince pie on me.:xmassmile

Have a very Merry Christmas Elsien bet Gitdog will sulk when you pick him up but am sure he will be very well looked after

I read a post on facebook saying the international space station will be passing over the UK just before 6pm tonight and it should be visible from earth.

I'm pretty sure this wrapping thing would be easier if dumbass dog would stop plonking himself down on my paper and staring at me.

I love seeing the ISS! I watch it quite a bit, clear skies permitting! If you missed the 17.21 transit, there's another tonight at 18.58, but only for 1minute, starting WSW and finishing SSW, but quite low down at about 15 degrees above horizon.
Skies have clouded over here so not able to see it! Any children who see it can be told it's Santa's sleigh!

Times tomorrow are: 18.07, 3mins, 23degrees, starting SW and ending SSE.
And Boxing Day 17.16, 3mins, 34 degrees, starts SW finishes SE.

Times vary by a minute or so, depending where in the country you are, but you can get accurate times for your area from this link....

Sorry can't get the link up, it's running really slowly....I'll keep trying.....

Nope had to give up....I expect everyone is googling it! Never had trouble before! If I get it, I'll post it in a new post!
