I know what you mean, just the thought of how happy you are with the gifts (which to be clear I wasn't involved with at all, don't want to be thunder-stealing!) is putting a huge smile on my face
.
.
I think really the gifts were from all of us on the thread, including the lurkers. It wouldn't have been practical to ask everybody if they'd wanted to contribute. Anyway, my gifts were definitely from everybody, including the lovely WaSP as everyone was in our thoughts as we got and wrapped them and sent them off.
Yes, JM, a huge, huge thank you from me too.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I consider the gifts and lovely wishes to be from everyone who posts and reads here. You all mean the world to me and are the family I had always wished for.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Hope your day gets better HBS - or that you at least manage to find chocolate to take the edge off.Waves_and_Smiles wrote: »I consider the gifts and lovely wishes to be from everyone who posts and reads here. You all mean the world to me and are the family I had always wished for.
I have had a lovely chocolate brownie which was incredibly naughty but very needed. Gym time later
WaS, you are so lovely. I feel honoured to be a part of all this

I didn't send any thing.. Not for lack of wanting to. Just lack of organisation, which is a shameful excuse. I've been feeling awful about it
. I wanted to send you something very badly.
I don't consider the gifts sent as from me, but I am enjoying your joy, and the joy of those who have gifted things to you and also applaud jm.0 -
Yes, you did LIR! Everyone here did because you all thought of me. More than anything material what means the most is that you all cared, you can't buy that. You are as much as part of that as everyone else and I am so, so lucky.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

What a wonderful thing to say
I too consider the gift I sent to be on behalf of all of us. It was simply wonderful to give so much joy and I think I have been more excited than WaS, waiting for her parcel to arrive!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I've been like a kid waiting for Christmas in the run up to the parcel arriving. So glad you liked everything. I consider the stuff I sent from all of us too.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

It was a thread hamper from Team WaS to WaS (and WaSp, Sir P, the fairies etc by association) for everyone to enjoy0

you all should have seen my face when WaSp came through the door struggling with a huge package! You should have seen WaSp's face! Neither of us could believe it! JM told me someone had sent ONE package, I was so stunned!
