    I've been Money Tipped!
Would it unsettle Harry if he were told we were thinking of him and wishing him well? I wouldn't want him to feel 'talking about in the ether' but on the other hand if he new those daft people he read were wishing him well brought him some comfort that might be nice?

I wonder if one of those comfy dog beds would help me ;)

Do you have a pet? At night I sleep with the cats, in the day dog dog snuggles up with me. :o. I think kiwi did today too. I'm not sure but it was very warm and comfortable.

When I cannot sleep just having them there is comforting and relaxing.

Cupcake is the American word for fairy cake. :(

This current craze for them started in the States.

And sprinkles are what we 'used' to call 'hundreds and thousands'.

I think it's sad when the American words supercede our own words.

    WaS - Queen of cupcake*-making.

    *also known as fairy cakes!:p

WaS, I don't think WaSp needs to worry; it shows you can follow an explicit list of instructions, and he is obviously good at deconstructing the task and listing all the steps.

Next one to try is making the pot of tea!

I had a gorgeous staffie, we had to have her pts in February when she got cancer for the 3rd time. She was my best and only friend and slept on my bed starting at the bottom and ending up with her head on the pillow next to mine.
Things have definitely got worse since we lost her.

I'm sorry dibuzz.- it's not surprising things have gone a bit downhill since then for you, you're grieving. I live alone and when mutt went I really missed the physical contact and snuggling up, more so than I ever thought I would.
Staffies are great dogs - lovely wriggly things that don't deserve the bad press they sometimes get.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I love cornflake cakes. They would be good for you to make, WaS.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
