I sleep, a lot.
Does it really get to you though, or does the need to catch up on sleep etc overcome this? (Sorry, I hope I'm not rubbing in about things that you want to do and struggle with, feel free to ignore me. I'm just trying to picture myself in the situation and failing dismally.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

More positively, have you thought about research or (yet) further education? Or if you also want money, teach yourself match betting!
Match betting - now there's a thought. I looked at it a while back but didn't have time to really get my head round it so I could revisit. Do you need a good grip on odds? Only when I was doing maths O level and we did probabilities etc I got serious brain freeze. Never did get the hang of it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I'd never heard of it before I came to MSE. I've just read the resumè on Wiki, but I can't say I really understand it. I can't see how bookmakers would allow something that let you win most of the time!(I just lurve spiders!)

A mixture.
Edit: I will probably remove this post so would appreciate if nobody quotes it:

Thank you for explaining. I think other people have said as well about how exhausting it is just fighting to keep going, and that's a side of the story that doesn't often come out so much. I have always thought (being a wimp) that pain would be more difficult but clearly not. Sorry if I've stirred things up.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Thank you, LIR. :A
A non-pervy group hug for you.
Edit. Ok and a pervy one, then! :grouphug:(I just lurve spiders!)

Not at all, no penguin needed what so ever. I just don't want pity from people. I don't mind sharing in this context, but I don't like.....pity.that's why I don't leave it.

LIR, can I empathise, if I promise it's not pity? When I had depression a number of years back, it was only having to look after the dog that got me off the settee otherwise I'd probably still be there now.
Apart from the pushing through pain bit which has never been on my radar - that one's a bit of an alien concept in my mindset! If I ever take up running - I'm contemplating the couch to 5k thingy - I know where to come for some tips on pushing through the barrier. Don't hold me to it though - whether I ever get from the contemplating stage to out the door is a moot point. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Actually, no you don't (except for sharbing, which is match betting you do in physical shops). Most bookie sites you can set to decimal odds, which is what we use for match betting anyway - then it's just a matter of knowing that 2.3 is smaller than 2.4 (for example). You use a spreadsheet to do the calculations for you, although it's useful to have enough maths common sense to know when things are sensible (like common sense checking a calculator). You do need some money to invest, though (although you can get it back at any time after your bet settles, unless you have tied yourself into a long wagering requirement. There are plenty of 'easy' bookies to do before you need to do that, though!)
I know it seems too good to be true, but the first £1000 or so is easy peasy (you do need to double check everything, but you can ask for help on the board).Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
