Our turquoise one was TRASHED thy the time DS1 & 2 were done with it! the door was gone and sometimes the seat used to just collapse :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I once caught DS1 with a rope tied around his sister with the other end tied around the steering wheel of the cosy coupe, making her pull him around
......and she did it!:rotfl::rotfl:

Coconut, an underestimated nut. Very nice...is it a nut or a fruit?
Will it count as one of my 5,6,7 a day?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Without sounding like a git, putting it in the freezer in the worst thing you can do. Moisture of any kind will make it sticky and sweat (that's what Dotty said
), which will make it fall apart
The best way to store it is in a cardboard box (I some times use Tupperware lined with parchment paper to absorb moisture). With travelling in heat, I would leave it in the box and place it on when you get there, it should be fine
Can't wait to see pictures, sounds amazing so far :T
Thank you, exactly what I needed to know. I have made a mistake in not using a mix with one third flower paste so know I need to keep it cool. The reson I asked is because some fleabay sellers say they can be kept in freezer and I wasn't sure.
Next time I will spend the extra to do perfectly but we found the perfect colours ready to use in sainsbobs.
Might have found something I could do well with more practice:T
And I have witheld on feeding to animals to see if they have pink poo.
I think my quest has been helped by buying a fall back personalised icing cake topperin case things go wrong. Always better if you have a back up plan:T

I have built 2 cosy coupes in my time though.....one pink, one blue and don't remember major problems. Little tykes stuff in general is pretty straightforward.....or it used to be
Glad to hear your house guests are still happy. Rodney sounds delightful!
Thinking of calling him Dave all day tomorrow:rotfl:
Thanks for the tips. Ladies on youtube said vodka or gin but nothing about jd which is only spirit in house at the moment:rotfl:
Cake will be wonderful simply because of all the love that has gone into it:)
FC I built a coupe before but 24 years ago. When it was on offer on amazon hukd had lots of comments about being a pain to build so got me apprehensive.
To be honest I dont think sticking some wheels on can be that hard it more the manual dexterity involved.

Not making the cake just adapting one. Alas my mr a nolonger has the large victoria sponge. My oven could not cope with cake baking so not even going to bother trying.
