I thought frail elderly people were what you were referring to. I've never really encountered rude elderly people myself so I guess I don't really appreciate your point fully

I haven't used public transport for a few years now, but I do remember how frustrating and tedious it was - and very expensive

The only annoyance from older people, was on the way to work when the bus driver had to spend ages at each bus stop explaining why someone couldn't use their bus pass before 9am - I would have been in work a lot earlier if it wasn't for them

I have. Many years ago I was in a Littlewoods lift with some teenagers that were mentally handicapped (sorry if that's not PC but don't know how else to put it) and a little old lady. When we got to the first floor I held the door open so they could get out with their helpers, I then continued to hold it open for the old lady who came up to me and said "I don't think they should be allowed out do you dear", I told her that they were normal people, same as pensioners, and did she think old people should be made to stay in their homes. She huffed off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good afternoon :)

Ive had a lovely surprise today :D My main bank account is with Natwest and I use it for most of my shopping. About 6 months ago, they introduced something called 'cash back plus' basically cash back for using your debit card at certain retailers. I signed up for it and promptly forgot all about it :o

Logged into my online banking today and noticed a new section that said 'Cashback Plus Available rewards £72.xx'

For the last 6 months I have been earning 1% CB on all my Ts shopping, all my BP petrol transactions and a few other retailers as well. Strangely enough neither Ts nor BP show up on the list of participating retailers! The last transaction that shows is yesterday at Ts though!

The £72.xx can either be paid to my bank account or traded up (doubled) for gift cards/vouchers for various retailers,

    Chuffed.....much :D

So if you're with Natwest and you haven't done this, get signed up!!
    thanks fc i just checked & i have £15.72 :T:T
I was so looking forward to it, then I remembered that I need to do some gardening (not of the lady variety Dotty) and I only have nail scissors to cut the grass, so I think it may take a while, such a shame

    Good evening Elite :)

A fruitless search in m&s for £5 off 25 food grrrr, Icame home and felt jiggered so went for a nap at 2.45pm. My Green redeem still in wallet until I can find a till spit :(

Off for a shower then a catch up, loads of pages I see but I guess it's all to do with express glitch. I don't have one of those local to me yet.

    See you later x

p.s. Happy Birthday to the birthday bods xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Oh dear, I guess I'd better get the Ketchup that DS2 added to the shopping list.

He's just walked into the dining room, with his trouser legs rolled up above his knees and informed me hes 'not consuming those chips' and 'won't be until there's proper ketchup available'
I was more interested in why his trouser legs were rolled up.......the ketchup tasted so wrong, he didn't want to be sick on his trousers.

    I didn't answer....it's just easier :o

    :rotfl:
DS3 would be exactly the same :o so we make sure we always have ketchup in the house :rotfl::rotfl: his latest thing is to walk around the house in just his pants as soon as he gets home from school so lucky we don't have surprise visitors :rotfl:
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!
