Woa what happened to the forum

Wish they would warn us when they do these things...but anyway ..

Re BC = Might be worth a second phone call, sometimes depends on who you get. I also find that out of hours you often get some numpty who has no clue, whereas day time office hours seem to get someone who has half a clue, not specific to BC though, thats a general point.

I agree with Squizzer, think SC changing their DMP date has thrown BC out of synch, but again - I wish SC had told us what they were doing.....its manners apart from anything else. I know they did notify if you logged onto the DMP site, but not everyone does every month. They are happy to email details of their latest pet project, which I really don't mind, but failed to mention something as significant as a date change, even though it might be for the right reasons.

Seems we are always the last to know, and that is rude and disrespectful (IMO). Rant over.

Seems strange that only BC were 'paid late'.

I think it is more likely BC 'processed payment late' than SC paid late;)

Quick question - hopefully not too daft a question :o

My online access to RBS and NWest CC accounts has been removed - presumably because they are defaulting the accounts (they have written and advised of defaults).

I believe the accounts are still 'in-house' at the moment - but not 100% sure.

My question is how will know our balances (other than manual calculations)? Do they start sending our paper statements? (we were always online statements before).

I feel like these 2 accounts are floating around somewhere and I have no idea of what's happening with them.

    Hi January,
I had online accounts with both of those and now just get monthly paper statements.

    Just some clarity for me.

Did they change things on the 1st April ?

If so, my payment on the 30th March falls under the old distribution system.

They send payment normally (around 13th of month I think)

Then on the 30th April, they pay with in 5 days ?

So around the 5th May all my companies will be paid ?

So in theory on May/June's statements I may have paid twice in a month ?

Stepchange take payment from you on the 1st or 10th of each month and used to distribute it on or near 25th of the month. They now take it on the same day but distribute it 5 Working days after that, so this month it was the 13 th for example. I don't think you will have paid twice as March payment would show in April statements and the new earlier payment taken in April should show in May statement. I suppose it could depend on your creditor statement dates but mine tend to all be at the end of the month.
