Hi all

As I'm a paper BC I don't know if the payment is there or not, and my situation is a bit different due to reducing payments anyway.

However I think anyone who has found their BC payment has not arrived when the rest of the creditors has should contact their DMP provider, SC or otherwise, ..it might be useful to do the on-line thing over the weekend to SC and then back it up with a call on Monday. My reasoning is that either something has gone wrong at SC,, or BC are sitting on the money as suggested by OP above, either way of you are paying interest , the payment should be hitting the account in a timely manner.
If SC have a flood of complaints, I think they'll start taking action to investigate, bit they don't respond to online questions immediately so backing it up with a flood of calls on Monday will support this as a problem.

And then part 2 is FoS of course, good luck and hope it all sorts out, many of us really can't cope with the hassle factor this type of thing causes. Creditors insinuating we are liars about making payments really does not help.

Still no sign of payment to barclaycard, usually shows up by now.

Its interesting this has happened at the same time as StepChange are changing their payment methods. I suspect the problem is at stephange rather then BC. I am going to ring SC today and encourage everybody with the same problem to do the same, we need to make them aware this is a problem affecting lot of us.

Personally, I think the change in payment date has not been fully thought through and is likely to cause more problems like this next month as payments are credited twice in the same period or further payments are missed. SC are making a almighty mess of peoples DMP.

I have sent a message to both Stepchange and Barclaycard.

I have also made the point that I know of other people with Stepchange DMPs who also have missing payments.

Hopefully will get sorted soon...

Same here - 2 BC accounts and no SC payments showing as yet. Our SC payment is collected on 1st monthly.

I can't phone SC today as we have relatives staying with us this week -
can't make DMP phone calls with them about:o

Hopefully others on here will post updates of their conversations with SC:beer:

Has anyone else not had the Stepchange statement this month? Just dawned on me the date but I still only show the March statment?

Also, i thought payments were going through quicker so expected it earlier this month.

They said the statement would now be at the end of the month so assume 30th? They have updated the debt balances online.

As BC are the only online creditor I have I will need to wait until I have received my paper statements to see if the other payments have gone through ok. The payment for BC is still not showing and it is usually processed and shows on the statement on the 25th.... Hope someone finds an answer...!! I also cannot ring SC today as I have dd home...

Ok, i have rung SC, payment went to BC on the 13th April and should have been credited to my account on that day. SC are resending the paperwork to BC about the date changes that they were informed of in January.. I guess I will have to watch this space and see if my payment shows up on BC statment date which is 1st May...I've no doubt they will be in contact if it doesn't... BC are also suppose to credit our accounts as soon as they receive the money, which is quite important for those being charged interest.

Had a reply from stepchange re BC payments:

Thank you for your email about your Barclaycard account.

I can confirm that your payment has been sent to Barclaycard.

We have been in contact with Barclaycard who have confirmed they have received the payments we have sent to them.

Barclaycard have also advised that they are in the process of applying these payments to the correct accounts.

Not long got back from work and rang SC. Like Puzz, they told me payment went on 13th April and should have shown on BC account the same day. They said lots of people had been in touch with the same problem and he could confirm it was a problem on BC end rather than SC. He insinuated that BC were delaying payment for some reason (hmm...financial gain possibly?).

Said they would resend paperwork and "hope" BC accept the terms and reduce interest again! Just checked BC accound and payment is now pending.
