I haven't been on here for a while (apologies), just reading through the pages and pages of new posts.

In June when I had my LBM and was at my lowest, I came across you friendly lot who offered me good advice and lots of support before I entered my DMP.

I can't believe that I've paid off £2.5K already as of today :j

You guys and SC are absolutely smashing :T:T:T

    Thank you

    Hi All

My only experience is with Link who have been absolutely fine both in the process of switching, provision of information in writing and also on the phone. They also show up on noddle but took a good couple of months before the debt showed up there.

Regards the quickquid letter it sounds to me like they have closed your account to additional lending - so presumable have heard from SC and withdrawn any additional lending. That letter probably gets sent automatically when they close the account, I wouldn;t worry but perhaps you could give them a call - maybe someone on here spoken to quick-quid - are they OK ?

Trying to get a little more sleep tonight .....

Good news! My payslip has come through for pay day tomorrow, and my new account details are on there! Phew, I don't have to worry about making an emergency 5.30am transfer in the morning from Halifax to stop their grubby hands taking my cash ha!

Also just opened the online savings account attached to my new cash account, and transferred my first £1 in :) There was a small part of me that was very satisfied even at that.

All of my 'spare' cash has been transferred into my new account, and it's the first time I've seen my balance in the black :D:D

    ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

    Great news :)

woo hoo! This month's Stepchange statement is available. I now only have 2 creditors, and I've paid off 5!

3 more payments to go and I'll be debt free!

    What a christmas present

On this note, when the balance finally gets to £0 - if you are not getting statements, should you request some confirmation of 'nothing outstanding?'

Wow seen from the main DFW forums page - anyone with debts from Minicredit (never heard of them personally) had a nice Christmas present. They are ceasing trading and have written off all debts !!
