Sympathising! £480, mot, clutch and tyres, that's without the expense of hiring a car to get to work.....SCP # 034

Oh dear, TTfTM hope the venting helped a bit. & GUO am I correct thinking you prepared for this sort of thing by increasing the DMP car budget? Good job if you did !
For me it's the kitchen electrics that have been spooked by Halloween, first the washer, then the kettle and now the blummiin microwave is joining in, tsk tsk :T
I did increase my budget - well remembered! I did have enough funds to pay for it too, plus I had the car serviced last month and had enough money for that too. Certainly has reduced my stress levels at MOT time:D
Give that microwave a good talking too. Have you switched it off and on again?:rotfl::rotfl:so_very_confused wrote: »Sympathising! £480, mot, clutch and tyres, that's without the expense of hiring a car to get to work.....

Hi all,
Just an update:
I have paid all my token payments and have sent off all my letters to my creditors.
I'm not sure if they were the right addresses but they were all sent via recorded delivery. I think I should ring up the post office or check online to see if they were signed for.
Did anyone else ring up their creditors at this stage to tell them they were on a DMP?
Thanks0 -

Hi, Well done for getting the letters done, no need to ring as well, they will call you if they need to. Just remember that your letter won't necessarily end up at the right department to start with so if you get any calls just state "I am setting up a dmp and this is my reference number".
Good luck
