0800 084 3518 scam?

Wasn't sure where to post this, - I think it's a scam, but it's also a question about my mobile phone.
I just missed a call from the above number today, and when I went to check my mobile phone, it looked like it had taken some credit off my balance, too! (I have PAYG with O2)
I've googled 0800 084 3518 and they look a bit iffy. Has anyone else had any dealings with them?
I've also tried to find out how to block this number from calling me again, but I have quite an old phone (Nokia 2630) and I'm not sure I'll be able to. This is a bit concerning if they are ringing and then taking money off my balance each time  Hopefully it's a one-off call, but I'd like to be able to block them if possible.

Being called cannot take money off your balance (unless you are roaming).0

No, not roaming.
OK, thanks, I will keep an eye on it.The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -
It's a mobile company - probably touting for business.
It's a freefone number (from a landline or some mobiles) - call them if you're concerned.
Personally I'd just ignore it.0 -

Not sure about other networks, but O2 standard rates for Europe are 6p/min to receive. 90p/min if you're in the USA.
Receiving texts are free, though not to send.Dave. :wave:0 -
Yes but that is when you are roaming with a UK sim, not on your home network.0

I recently got another call from that number, but I didn't answer it. I am not 100% sure, but I think it takes money off my balance, because the phone gives my new balance after the call has ended (or after it's stopped ringing) which it wouldn't usually. The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0

The same thing has just happened to me - I didn't answer the call and then my balance was shown when they hung up. Hope they don't call again because I don't think I can block numbers on this phone - it's an old one!0
