The number of children murdered has not changed much since the Moor Murders. It['s the various multi media sources that means the murder is more prevalent in society. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
A bit confused, how are they kicking the ball against your house.
Is it because your house is right next to a path way. If so it is similar to mine, I have no problem facing up to any of the parents when kids think it is a good idea to kick balls against my wall.
You either need to face up to this neighbor or if she is anti social get the police involved.
Is there any garden space by the side of your house they are kicking it against, if there is either some prickly bushes or a fencemay be the way to go. If you are going the fence route I would go with chain link as the ball won't bounce of it.0 -
I pinhole should see the ball gradually become useless.Been away for a while.0

We've faced up to her more times than I can count and been utterly ignored.0 -
Ongoing problem with our neighbours to the rear. In the end they called the police as we refused to return the balls (after 4 years). Due to the damage that was being caused to our plants from the balls and their unauthorised access to our garden, i.e. trampling across flower beds.
I happen to find out that the neighbour is a police dog handler. So after chatting to 2 really nice community police officers for about 15 minutes. I let this fact slip. Their faces were aghast. Needless to say we've had a quiet 4 weeks now........0 -

Very confused what the neighbour being a police dog handler had anything to do with it or how it helped but glad your problems stopped!
As for the OP, it looks like she has an unfortunate tendency to attract fruitcakes... This is the 3rd thread I've come across in the last couple of days where other people are being completely unreasonable: her own neighbours, her parents' neighbours, her relatives... If all these stories are true then I do feel very sorry for her!
