Football 'trespass' clarification

Very confused what the neighbour being a police dog handler had anything to do with it or how it helped but glad your problems stopped!
I was merely truncating war and peace. The guy himself was equally guilty of kicking the football over. All I said to the community guys was, doesn't look very good for a serving police officer to encourage his children to trespass nor cause criminal damage. I won't be pursuing the matter any further at the moment.
Nothing against kids. My son was the same. When they our grew our garden then I stopped them playing certain games. Getting on with neighbours is give and take.0 -

As for the OP, it looks like she has an unfortunate tendency to attract fruitcakes... This is the 3rd thread I've come across in the last couple of days where other people are being completely unreasonable: her own neighbours, her parents' neighbours, her relatives... If all these stories are true then I do feel very sorry for her!

Unfortunately it's all true. I've never had neighbour problems until we moved here and it wasn't until 2 years living here we had issues, and she was here before us. Same for parents, they had wonderful relationships with their neighbours previously, going around for chess and cognac lol, and my inlaws have always been a bit of a tenuous relationship but a family wedding tends to bring the worst out it seems!0 -
I should say I have absolutely no issues with kids in the slightest. Today they were playing it just down from our house without hitting the wall or ball in garden. That's great, they can do that whenever they want!0

don't tell us
TELL THEM
tell them that you're really proud of them for finsing somewhere more suitable to play where their ball won't go missing every 5 minutes.just in case you need to know:

Tell them there is a once-a month free (conditional upon no damage) return policy, otherwise an instant £5 call-out ball return charge for time and trouble, and possibly an additional charge for damage to your garden.0

maybe you should throw some rotten fruit and veg into their garden
or spray them with a hose
seems to work well for your parent's neighbours0 -
If I was that annoyed by returning footballs and I'd literally got to the point where I'd had enough, I would hoof that ball so far down the row of terraces they'd have trouble finding which garden it had gone in. I'd keep doing that until they got the message.
"Want your ball back? Go find it" *hoooooof*
If she genuienly telling her kids to kick the ball at your wall to wind you up, then fight fire with fire.0 -
