It's Friday thank heavens not having the greatest of weeks.

Central heating boiler not working, useless British Gas Engineer out yesterday, managed to break the pilot light holder within 2 minutes of being there. Annoyed me immensely by trying to flog me a new boiler before even opened the kitchen cupboard door to look at mine.
Well idiot back this afternoon for round 2. Can see me requesting a more experienced engineer. He is not much older than my boiler lol.

Managed to break a piece of tooth off the other day eating soup!!! Anyhow got horrendous ulcer on my tongue - sharp bit has rubbed it. So enforced diet yesterday - too painful to eat/ drink. Today seems on the mend, will pop to chemists and get something to try and heal it up.

Between boiler, sore mouth and tantrums from a 3yr old yesterday was close to tears last night. So worried if boiler packs in really don't want to use my credit cards at all, I could get one cheaper through work(housebuilders) just need then to get someone to fit it.

Trying to stay positive, its the weekend, no plans, no money either, would be nice if the sun popped out, could play in the garden.

Well things improved for the weekend.

Got some tablets hydrocortisone tablets for my ulcer, 6.50 argh but they got it down for the weekend.

Boiler fixed for now but as it 21yrs old need to make provision somehow to afford a new one.

Busy weekend got some bamboo fencing and decking paint, good old Home Bargains cheaply, played in the garden Saturday. Managed to fall off ladder into a rose bush, lucky only scratches. Pleased as not overlooked now by the people at the back of me, put above the height of regular fencing. Difference in levels so fed up of them looking straight into my house. Ache all over with running up and down ladder to paint it(sunday) couldn't hold paint pot and dangle as well. Decking painted ready for sunbathing now.

Glad to be in work for a rest today.

No spending day for me x

Well finding this month tough going.

No debt reduction to report, hopefully should clear my everyday credit card by 8th May and then pay bit off these cards, but have London break planned end of May. Serious debt busting will start in June. PROMISE

Joined the National Trust today (not helping my debt busting oops) discounted price on line 45.00 for the year. Local garden I like going to in different seasons plus get me out and about. Was going to join the local zoo with daughter but to be honest, be doing it for grandson and her hubby has decided to join up with her now. Been there a lot over the years decided to put myself first for a change, as not having a major holiday this year.

    Happy Monday folks x

It's May failed in meeting my under 5k target - will be done about 14th May now.
Today had 7.98 back rewards from Santander, 5.00 Halifax and Quidco 5.33 every little counts.

Ordered stationary for work as Viking with Quidco now tracking over 13% so 13.24 to look forward to next month.

Monthly shop done with Sainsbobs with 12.00 off voucher.

Sun is out and off this afternoon got a choice of places to go now Nat. Trust properties and daughter added me to her zoo membership at 22.00 per year so may pop in there later.

    Have a lovely weekend.

Gosh seems ages since I have written in this little diary.

Nice weekend visited National Trust property Saturday and zoo yesterday. Little spend in Lidl fruit needed plus wine oops. Bought couple of plants, bit annoyed I did now, my daughter is removing all her front garden and having block paviours, so off to collect lots of plants later!

Nothing much to report 3 days to go !!!!!!!!!! until I get under 5k mark. Has taken forever, once my London trip (end of the month) is done and dusted I will be seriously debt busting then. Will increase my minimum payment on both cards then.

Well Monday almost over for me just over an hour to go, can't wait to escape outside and walk my doggie.

See you Thursday when I can update my figures Saddo that I am.
