abba1972 Kermit onesie is the best hood ears, collar and feet in it as well. Anything to save on heating.

Bit annoyed noticed that Amazon dropped the price on my hoover to 85.00 today. Tried to cancel but they say it's being dispatched - not showing a dispatch date until next week then. I have the option to refuse delivery or return it when received. Think I will just have to accept it.

Oh well claimed 10.21 back from Quidco today, should make my bank act bit healthier next week.

Been asked to clean downstairs offices over the weekend. Bit of extra cash so said yes.

Had to spend some money today, friends son got his own place so got him a card and cookies. Also needed birthday pressie for friend, got lots of little things, plants, wine, biscuits, jam and some flowers. Not too much spends.

Well hometime for me, dog walk and rush to collect grandson. Maybe cookie time later oops. Try not too.

Well who ate most of the cookies!!!!!!!! What diet am I on.

Today will try to get some exercise in before grandson appears on the scene, as he is so tired after school/playgroup impossible to get anything done.

Paid off another 150.00 off my credit card used last month so at least cleared the statement balance, however still got a lot left on it to clear this month - it will be done. No matter what.:money:

Needless to say this weekend is going to be a cheap one, hopefully daughter is cooking lamb Sunday lunch. Easter eggs already bought.

Going to be difficult not to have one glass of wine this weekend, especially today friends birthday know what will happen deliver pressie and have a few wines then. Have to enjoy life a bit however.

More exercise this weekend weather permitting.

Have a great Easter folks x

  • You are doing great Calling. If it helps, I am desperately trying to cut down on what I eat and walk more. I am so unfit it is getting ridiculous. I can't even walk up a hill without getting seriously puffed out. Not good.

You are doing ok with the debt busting. It takes time and now you are more aware of things you are less likely to spend as much as what you do spend, you feel guilty about.

    Have a great day!

I did 9500 steps on Sunday mainly all uphill, nearly killed me. Gutted weighed myself yesterday and put on a 1lb. Too many easter eggs:mad:
Determined to try harder this week well when I haven't a 3yr old in tow.

Monday night one of my friends appeared at my house to bring bad news - one of my dog walking friends been killed over the weekend on a motorcycle. So upset I pigged out. He had lost his wife to cancer last year and leaves behind 2 kids well youngest is 19. Such a shock totally devastated, taken about 24hrs to sink in. He just started dating someone, seemed happy, unfortunately she was on the bike too and they turned off her life support yesterday. I don't know her but really makes you think how precious life is.

Didn't spend much all weekend, felt like going out and having a few drinks last night, after seeing all my friends who are all in a state of shock but I did gardening instead.

Trying so hard to clear credit cards will see what I can afford to pay off this week. I want a holiday or at least escape for a few days soon.

Booked a day off tomorrow, as want to finish some painting and weather forecast for weekend isn't great. Annoying me having half garage painted and I can see if I do after work grandson will be a lovely cream colour.

Well off to juggle bank accounts and hope to find some cash somewhere to lower these debts, I need to start living a bit.:)

    It's Friday!!!!!!!

Paid 76.00 off my Barclaycard today. 5160.00 left to go.

Had a busy day off, garage painted, ran out of paint and ended up getting a slightly different colour, resulted in repainting everything again, garden is gorgeous, ran after grandson for 2 1/2 hrs shattered. Return of the annoying friend just when I was going for a bath, tired and covered in paint. So hit wine and cider instead only way to cope lol.

Hoping for a quiet night tonight, shattered.

Have a lovely weekend folks x

Well its going down 102.00 pounds off today (weird amount due to colouring in squares on my fridge 15% of this years starting total 5940.00) ;)

:jBalance now stands at 5058.00 61% of debt gone.:j:beer:May have a cider later to celebrate.

Having to spend today just realized its son in laws 30th Birthday tomorrow - wish me luck as to what to get him:eek: I thought lots of little nice foody things from farm food shop - who doesn't like food?

Can't wait to get below 5k now. C

Otherwise the week has been rubbish, heating and hot water refusing to work last night, together with Sky and my fridge/freezer. All seemed to come back to life after hrs spent fiddling around with them. So tired it was after 9pm by the time I sat down. Fridge/ Freezer is on its way out. Going to hope it lasts till about July :(

Really felt low yesterday, just being debt free seems an awful way off. I know keep on going. Decided to go out a bit this week, awful staying in all weekend, besides my dog walking mates( who are all very upset still) thats one only folk I have seen. Reckon I can run to one night out. :o
