Because i assume its a diesel engine with a pump timed to inject fuel into the correct cylinder on its compression stroke and not a modern common rail diesel engine.

Unlike common rail diesels and petrol models the fuel gets pumped to each injector at the right time. Injectors are not triggered into firing by an electrical pulse.

An update for you all, spoken to a solicitor, I can remove the vehicle whenever I want, and that I may also enlist the services of the police to get it. Thanks Nobby, I cant believe some people on here actually like starting arguments where there shouldn't be any. I asked for advice, not a !!!!!ing comp. Seriously grow up.

Excellent advice, hope it doesn't come to that though. Sadly, the advice on here has really gone down the pan, the forum appears to be overrun by spineless posters who'll advise letting anyone walk over them.
