There you go - niche market for sock puppets on Ebay. I mean, the things from the Clio adverts have been made into dolls, so why not??!!

I sold the most horrific skull ornaments when my ex husband left, am currently selling his vintage 1980's GI Joe models. I hate them, but there peple out there willing to pay for them.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500
  • I can't beleive what people will buy! I've never sold anything on ebay before, only bought stuff, but I've just redecorated my bedroom and filled a rubbish bag full of broken bits of exercise equipment and clothes. Well, that bag is getting empied and i'll give it a shot on ebay,

    Thanks guys!!

They are pretty horrible, and I did read a feature in a knitting mag once that there's some guy in teh states who makes similar looking things from old socks - they even had a how to make your own feature - they looked oddly appealing but still not something you want to wake up to seeing perched at the end of the bed.....

How much did Susie Sock go for in the end?

  • Hi Obi, do you mean the guy who does Stupid Sock Creatures? I bought the book and I've made a couple for birthday presents etc - they're fab (but a bit scary). Kicking myself for not taking any photos of them before I gave them away, though.

Yeah PennyPinchingPrincess - how much did you get for the lovely Susie?

(ie is it worth my while emptying hubby's sock drawer and whiling away a wintry afternoon giving them faces?!;) )

That's the one - oddly fascinating but bloddy scary little things. You can imagine them plotting to take over the world, or standing over you whilst you sleep muttering 'Soon my precious, soon.......'

Maybe that's just my hummus fuelled madness....
