KT2802 - That S&G scrub wasn't Flake Away by any chance was it. Dreadful stuff.
I met my DH when I was 17 and we have grown up together really which was difficult (he is 18 months older) especially as we bought our first house when I was 19 which put the pressure on. Now though we both have the same views and the same odd little ways because we started so young so it all worked out well. We have been married 20 years next year.

Elemis PCMC 30ml, WBA but have loads of 15ml and 30ml tubes and pots in the stash yet.
Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer 30ml, WBA but again I have a couple of full sizes and several 30ml tubes in the stash. Will open another tomorrow. It helps to calm the frizz a bit and keep my curls defined.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I'm also using the Flash Balm at the moment and have become quite impressed by it over the last week or so. Does make my skin look fresher. Have a few tubes to UU before I consider repurchasing though.
Have UUed my present tube of Elemis Flash Balm. Think I have three more in the stash.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hello ladies
Asset - I'm so glad that you coped with the funeral. Well done. It sounds like you will have been a great comfort/help to the child you were with (and his parents) so it was lucky you were thereWhat a relief...
Catriona - I'm sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time too. Hugs to you and I hope that things improve soon. I agree that the thread is a huge comfort :A
Kadison - it's lovely to hear about your dizzy-in-loveness. Long may it continue! It's also lovely hearing other stories about OHs. (Dolly - 20 years together and you're so young! That's amazing to me) I met my OH when he was 19 and we've been together for 11 years. (I'm older ) We've had some bumpy times but that has been due to my illness and him establishing his career. We're very happy at the moment though
EmsJune - really good to see you backHappy belated birthday! :bdaycake:
No UUs but a few INs to mention
I placed an online order with Superdrug whilst they had their free delivery if you spend over £10. I stocked up on two Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning treatment (happy to have this again - I use it as a normal conditioner and it was half price and one will go straight into use). I also bought the Superdrug Solait mattifying face fluid. I'm really :j about this having just tried it on the back of my hand. It sank in beautifully and there is no shine at all. Amazing! Yesterday I used an expensive 'serum' sunscreen by Face Goop and it was awful. Nothing like a serum and it made my face red and shiny. Anyhow, thanks again to dazedandconfused for the recommendation because I have a bag of expensive fails when it comes to facial sunscreen  If this one works then I will UU the others on my neck (my poor neck gets all my rejects! :rotfl:)
I also bought a Revolution eyeshadow palette (I don't count make-up). I was going to go for the Naked 2 dupe but I went for the 'Romantic Smoked' palette. It's really pretty! I wouldn't recommend the palette I received in my BBB box (an 'Awesome Eyeshadow and Eyebrow Palette') - the colours are really pretty but the pans are an awkward size/shape. If anyone is going to try these shadows the 'Redemption' style palette seems much better. Also, I think they're the same price but the 'Redemption' one has 14g of eyeshadow and the 'Awesome' one only has 4.5g of eyeshadow and 1.2g of brow powder, so the the 'Redemption' one is much more :money:

I have some ins
NYC big bold bronzing powder in Manhattan. I don't really use NYC but their powders are good. It's on offer for £1.99 and although it's orange toned rather than brown toned (does that make sense?) it just gives you a healthy glow if you blend it out properly. I like something to give me a lift as I'm super pale
MUA power pout colour intense tint and balm. I love these they are like the soap and glory lip crayons http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Sexy-Mother-Pucker--Gloss-Stick-3D-Super-Colour-Volume-Lip-Shine-2-72g_1277067/ but less than half the price and they seem to last longer, you have to give your lips a couple of coats though. They are super moisturising £3 I got irreplaceable which is a bright pink. I already have broken hearted which I wear for work most days.
I just sound like an advert for superdrug lol - I don't work there and they don't pay me , but maybe they shouldI will say with the solait, I do use a mattifying powder over it but once I've do that my face doesn't go shiny. I have used much more expensive facial sunscreens that are much worse than this one. The best one I ever had was from Croatia but it was clearly a Croatian product. It was amazing.
I also got a magazine for the freebie again. I got an eyeko eyeliner as I don't have a felt tip one, in company which is £2. I dont wear eyeliner much but I wouldn't buy this. It says it is thin but it's quite a thick liner - is very dry and not that easy to apply but if you need a liner this month get it. It's £2 but retails at £12 so with a try and you get a magazine to read.0 -
Sorry ladies I've looked back bit can't see it what is elmis pcmc ?

Dazedandconfused wrote: »Soap and glory the fill monty is great for fine lines. I had it for Christmas - cheeky cousin buying me an anti wrinkle product. Anyway it's not got wonderful reviews and I hated it for the first couple of uses and thought it was crap then I saw a review and realised its because you only need to use a teeny miniscule amount. If you use more it doesn't melt into the skin,
It's pretty much nuked two of the fine lines I was getting on my forehead and has greatly reduced it under one of my eyes. It's not for deep wrinkles but works really well on fine lines. I have pretty good skin anyway due to years of slapping on the sunscreen.
Thanks for the recommendation. I can't find it on the Boots website? Wonder if it has been discontinued.KT2802 - That S&G scrub wasn't Flake Away by any chance was it. Dreadful stuff.
Yes it was - horrible  might throw it away!! Amazing how long you and your husband have been together
Willowbee what do you think of the quality of the make up revolution palettes? Really tempted to try them as they are so cheap but I really don't need any more eyeshadow.
I really must try the solait face suncream.
dazedandconfused I bought the magazine for the eyeliner too. Haven't tried it yet but have read some dreadful reviews.
sweetcheeks it's the pro collagen marine cream I believe? Never tried it but is highly rated on here!0 -
