Many hugs to you Clutterfree, hope you're doing ok this morning. The support on here is amazing, never feel like you're alone when this thread is here.

I've been AWOL for a while as I have a lot of personal things going on right now (and none of it good) but the stash is going down slowly but surely. I can honestly say I think I've cracked my toiletry buying habit, but I still have plenty to use up so think I might be around a while yet. ;)

I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a nice SLS & paraben-free shampoo that isn't too expensive and fairly easily obtainable from the high street? I'm on my last stash bottle and want to go to something a bit better for my hair.

i have a uu L'Oreal cleansing milk I love these I got them free when you could get the £2.50 vouchers, I have a couple left in the stash but on Aldi Hydrating cleansing milk I like these as well they are a cream gel consistency and were only £1 so when they are on offer again I think I will stock up.

The only ones I can think of that are easily available on the high street are the L'oreal Ever… line (ever pure, everwhatever, etc) and the tresemme naturals. I haven't tried either unfortunately, I've been ordering the Jason shampoo and conditioner online.

3 UU's this week! Wahoo! and all of them items that have been lingering around for ages.

    • Lush Olive branch shower gel - WNBA simply because I don't use shower gel that often, I usually use them for bubble bath

    • Lush Hand balm – WDNBA hated this with a passion! I forced myself to use it but as it got to the end it just broke into tiny little bits which made it impossible to use. Oily and difficult to use.

    • Eye cream tester.

I'm struggling with itchy legs at the moment, they feel like they're on fire  and I have scratched a patch on my calf in my sleep until it's bled :( I don't know what's not agreeing with me, i bought an Aldi 5 blade razor which is doing a great job of defuzzing so I really hope it's not that. The other main contender is the Garnier body lotion I'm using but it came with me to Barcelona with no ill effects so I'm a bit baffled?! Or it could be the rituals shower paste and scrubby mitt combination.

FizzWhizz - When the weather gets warm my skin can get itchy, it is mainly on my throat and decollatege and drives me mad sometimes.

If it's hair removal, that'll be friction burn, I think you'd know if it was that or the scrub, if so then Aloe or good old Calomine.

What Dolly describes sounds like sweat rash/heat rash, I get that on my neck/chest and the back of my hands and use hydrocortisone (needs to be the Canesten one as it's got dual ingredients, clotri-something as well as Hydrocortisone I think) when necessary, a pharmacist would be able to say what it was for certain, that works brilliantly!

Cheers kadison, but I'm not sure it's razor burn; I've had that in the past :o but that always comes up in red, bumpy spots. This time, my skin looks totally normal, it's just itching like a beeyatch. I have some aloe gel in the stash (NATCH!) so I'll give it a whirl, it certainly can't* shouldn't make it worse.

    * didn't want to tempt fate ;)

My BFF suffers with prickly heat/heat rash and it make her so miserable, she dreads the start of summer :(

Yes it is! God how I hated that stuff! And the worst thing is, even though you force yourself to use it up, at the end it all breaks up so it's impossible to finish it off completely, so you never get that satisfaction!

    Hi All,

Not posted for a while and just lost a big post through my own stupidity!!

I've not even declared my final bits from May or updated my stash list properly since April so will definitely do both those tonight/tomorrow.

June has been a really slow start for me, only one UU but quite a few splutterers so all is not lost!! Also I do have several Birthday IN which I'm yet to take proper stock of. I was also very spoilt by OH with an iPad mini 😘😘😘 which at least means I should get chance to post more frequently!

Kadison I'm loving hearing about the budding romance. 💑 It's so exciting!! Please keep us fully updated.

I also read a post that made my heart ache a little. I really hope you're feeling much better soon. Please know that you're valued and people care. You've nothing to be embarrassed about, I admire your honesty and openness. We all have our dark times. This thread has been a comfort to me in times of stress and upset, I hope it can be for you too xx
