So hello everyone I'm a skincare-a-holic hoader, hope we can all be good for the rest of the month and avoid any amazing bank holiday offers and instead have a lovely been UU pamper session! :)

Welcome to the challenge miclare. Hopefully, we can help you find your HG skincare regime and put an end to your buying up any more offers! lol
Very slow going this month because I've been lazy and not used body lotion or hand cream at all.
Have UU about 5 items and only 1 IN so although UUs are slow the

Me too. I know I'm using my hectic work life as an excuse really. Need to stop dusting the tub of body butter in the bathroom and bottle of hand lotion in the living room and start applying them!!

I actually got 4 days wear this week (normally 1 or 2 at most) from an old Revlon Colorstay in a "Supermodel" colour, topped with Perfect Formula Pink Gel coat. Toes are Maybelline Red Comet and nails will soon be LD New Season.

I chopped all my nails down the week before last and so have been using neutral colours. Plus they're more forgiving re: chip wear. Am really in love with OPI Barefoot in Barcelona at the moment.

But having said that Liz Earle have free postage on so I *had* to buy the new ltd ed cleanser. I dont really buy LE anymore for various reasons but the C&P is an old fav and new one sounds right up my street, plus the fact that I've just UU'd an Elemis one so would be buying a new one anyway soon as only a mini/GWP sizes left in stash (which I will UU before starting the LE ofc). Sorry if I'm enabling anyone!

So anyway, so far this month:
UU: Elemis cream cleanser - was nice cant say I was blown away by it, texture was nice, didnt really notice a scent, probably WNBA (this was a gwp anyway).

Ins: Liz Earle cleanser -thinking on it not sure if they still send out a mini cleanser with orders, if so will be another in but will put it in my travel bag and uu the one that's currently in there (another C&P) as I like to make sure its a fresh one. I dont go away often and I'd be gutted if it had gone funny when I went to use it!

I ordered the new C&P too and am quite excited about it's anticipated arrival. Free delivery was a nice incentive. Not a bad purchase for me as my current pump bottle of C&P is feeling very light and I only have 2 x 30mls left in the stash that I want to take on hols with me.

I went through a time when I didn't use C&P however was buying it for Emma so started to use it for a my evening wash again. I do like Elemis Like Blossom cleanser which is very light and really helps my oily skin but have had a stash of the PCMC balm to use up. It's coming to that time of year though when my Christmas stash is becoming very depleted - am on last pot of PCMC however am going to try and avoid buying any more cleanser until this current new (not arrived) 150ml C&P is used up.

I too have tried the Elemis hot cloth cleanser and didn't rate it. Wasn't a bad product but no better than C&P.

Thankfully, Emma has established a good cleanser regime which does not include the Clinique one that I bought her to try. She is really getting along with TBS Tea Tree cleanser in the morning and C&P at night so this saves me more money in not having to buy Clinique though she does like their moisturiser and we both like the eye make up remover so I will be taking advantage of the new bonus time due to start today (not enabling honestly - miclaire look away NOW!).

Meant to add to my last post that LE don't give a 30ml away anymore. Was a little disappointed as I didn't get anything with my last order but then again I did buy the C&P at the special offer price so maybe that was why.

    Where's valm gone? Hope she's ok x
I was wondering where VALM had disappeared to, too - I don't recall mention of a holiday? Hope she's ok.

Aw, nice that I'm missed. Hadn't realised I had been offline so long - 18 May was last time I posted!. As mentioned already work has been hectic and the weekends have been busy too. I remember spending the Bank Holiday weekend visiting garden centres and catching up on household chores! Last weekend was equally busy as we were out with MrM's family on the Friday night (Family over from Oz) and I took Emma and her friend to see One Direction on the Saturday.

I am making a point now though of sending my UU List to work so that I can keep it going and remember to post more.

Have had a look at my recent UUs and don't have much to report, but here goes:-

Elemis PCMC - only one left in stash after this has gone. Am going to try and eek this one and the remaining pot together with the sample sizes of other moisturisers out until October when the Cancer Research kit is released.

LE Skin Repair Moisturiser - on the last tube of this. HG night cream. Will need to repurchase when gone.

Vaseline lip therapy pink rose - Thrown away. It's just too oily. I pulled another tin out of the stash last night - the Aloe one and that's nice.

Loccitane shea butter hand cream - more in stash so no repurchase needed.

Naked shampoo and Garnier Ultimate Balance shampo - already purchased 3 x bottles of Aussie and vowed never to stray away from this brand ever again.

Lush Noriko soap - this was lovely. Smelt especially lovely on MrM when he used it. Did gunk up the drain though. Think it's a Seasonal one so if it's released at Christmas will buy again.

And there we have it. Gonna have to go now cos I need to go with Emma into town to get photos developed for her Yearbook (something that I'm not happy about at all - am sick of how we Brits seem to have accepted so many US traditions - that sound folks is Val kicking the soap box away).

Take care, promise not to leave it too long before posting next time. x

Yes my order arrived and no freebie, cant grumble I guess but I used to like it when they included a random freebie from the range as it was a nice was to try something new. Oh well guess it wasnt needed so nevermind. I've yet to try the new one but am looking forward to it, wasnt a huge fan of the previous ltd ed but it was nice for a change.

I've yet to try the clinique one but tbh I dont really like the whole dipping my finger in the pot thing, and I didnt like the EH one either. I have dry skin and I do hate the feeling of rubbing oil around my face, so think I'll stick to cream cleansers!

Bonus time you say? Oh where at? I just had a google and could only see the Harv Nics one which finishes today? I too am trying to have a frugal month and I really need to get some stuff on Ebay that's been sitting around in the cupboard for the past few months as I want to buy a steam mop (oh the exciting life I lead now with 2 small children!).

Anyway have a nice weekend all, the weather is very wet here :(

VALM - I agree about the americanisation (is this a word?) of us, I actively refuse to be involved in it and still call secondary school upper school on purpose. The only one I don't mind is Halloween.

First UU of the month finished off a little 30ml GWP sized Balance Me Shiny Clean Conditioner which I smothered all over my head today just to get rid, as I knew from prior use that it wasn't at all effective

This is the fourth product I have used from this brand and so far every one of them has been mediocre and certainly don't live up to their premier league price range IMVHO. I'll consider myself officially over it and cured of this brand. :rotfl:

A few ins to declare for this month but don't feel too bad as they are product replacements:

2 x Superdrug Vit E Hot Cloth Cleanser: Currently buy one get one half price. I've decided to buy this version rather than the regular as it has 200 ml v 150 ml. Hope it's just as good.

Outs: Boots nail polish remover: Super cheap at 99p and not too harsh on nails even though it contains acetone. WBA

Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser: Big thanks to whoever suggested this as a cleanser as it is now my HG for cleansing my eczema prone dry skin. I like the creaminess and it smells lovely and it is well priced.

My PP is to use up my foundation stick which I'm sure I've had for nearly 2 years. I'm wearing it to work every day and after it's finished will stick with the Sleek BB cream as I think the BB cream gives a more polished and natural look. Unfortunately, I have been very lazy with cleaning my face at night so I think my skin is suffering and looking very tired so I have to be more disciplined.
