Hello all, sorry I haven't read back, I've been a bit busy. I hope everyone's ok?

Ouchie! I tried sanding my upper legs (with that Babyliss sander thing) and that didn't work so I used veet, now I have a massive red patch on my thigh - yow! Somehow aloe vera made it hurt more! :o

Anyway I have a date tomorrow with Mr Lush and I'm wearing a skirt hence the necessary attention to detail, it's a long skirt but floaty and full so you never know when you'll have a Marilyn moment do you?

Plus it's our fifth date so *edits out the TMI part of the post* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ouch kadison a leg sander sounds painful?! How is that meant to work?

    Enjoy your date tomorrow :)

I tried out the Soap & Glory new facial SPF50 stuff today and wasn't impressed! It is meant to be an SPF that you put on and then apply make up on top of, plus it is meant to be matte. Well, it left my face feeling really sticky and looking shiny - certainly not matte! When I applied make up on top of it, it all 'balled'. Waste of money!

Going to get the facial SPF that Boots make that someone recommended on here.

Oh dear! Was it the Soltan Once one? If so, it was probably me, brilliant stuff!

By 'leg sander' I mean this, when incorrectly used, it's an instrument of delayed torture :rotfl:

I won't buy any more replacement pads once I've used the ones I have, it's too hit-and-miss for my liking, I prefer my ladyshaver now!

I have just checked my spreadsheet and I am at a net of -7 items between the january 1st total and today. So at that rate... December 2021....:eek::eek:

    Currently tally is 367 :(

    Oh!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks, Roguey. That really made me laugh :D

At least it's a lovely place to hang out :rotfl:

I got over my panic about having too much to UU by buying In Style for the REN cleansing balm :wall: (I'm really keen to try it out though so not too cross with myself ;) )

KT - thanks for reviewing the Soap & Glory SPF :) I had read that it was a dupe for the Kiehl's sunscreen and wanted to try it for that reason. I struggle to find sunscreen that doesn't make my skin shiny so you've saved me a few pounds. Maybe you could use it up on your neck/chest so it doesn't go to waste?

Kadison - ouch! indeed   I hope that you have another really great date with your chap :)

Right. Time to unpack all the junk that I've brought back with me :o

Whats your scalp normally like Sam? It might not smell great but soak and float is great if you have a sensitive/irritated scalp or flakey scalp :)

never tried the bars for washing clothes! I do have a jumping juniper and a godiva i need to use up though so might give it a try!!

Is Godiva one of the shampoo and conditioner ones? If so I used up the black one that is now discontinued that I can't remember the name of to shave my legs and it was great. Also jungle conditioner which I didn't like as a conditioner but did like as a shaving bar and also great for hard skin on your feet!

If it's for scalp issues the new bars are amazing I used them when I had alopecia.

I had one of those but found my legs are too sensitive. I will have a hunt round as if I didn't already give them away I might have some spare pads you can have if you want them. You really need to moisturise your legs continually to not find it too abrasive.

KT2802 For sunscreen seriously go for the solait 50spf mattifying face fluid, at least give it a go for £1.99 for 50ml. It's still on offer in superdrug I believe at that price. I wore it twice under makeup last week and really wasn't oily. Plus it's not got that really sunscreeny smell. It's worth trying as well as the soltan one.

I had some beauty finds. Went through what I have somehow stashed at my mum and dad's house when I've got ready there or spent the odd night there. I found a new piece of coal face which I'm v happy about as I was going to buy that. A rimmel stay matte powder, again great as I've hit pan on my makeup bag seventeen one. I prefer the seventeen version but I'll certainly use the rimmel. It's about 3/4 full

A beauty without cruelty loose powder which I think was too dark but I'll try it and if it is I'll give it to my cousin

Also so some old cream eyeshadows which were still good and a nail varnish remover. I was really happy with that.

Evening ladies. Just catching up on what I have missed. Lots going on with new fellas, root canals and antibiotics to rotten migraines too. I'm a fellow sufferer and take daily medication and have a nasal spray to deal with an acute attack.

I have been off on a last minute holiday to Italy. Spent three days in Venice and four in Lido di Jesolo. Had a wonderful time with the bf ( it was our first proper holiday together). After nearly a year together it was about time. Had a fab time and Venice is stunning to see.

Back o/t. Resisted the duty free as planned :A and managed to bag a few UUs too.

YLS touch eclate WBA loved this and it has lasted me easily 8 months with near daily applications.
Boots no 7 night cream. This was the last of my bulk buying a month into joining this challenge (4 years this October:eek::eek:) worked well on my oily skin but since finding PCMC....WNBA

I am also tantalisingly close to the 300 product mark too. When I joined it was over 700.
