    What's the usual response, Jo?

I think that's a really good way of handling the situation, incidentally :)

So far, they've always been very friendly and said of course!

Virgin Money actually replied recently with "Hi Jo, No don't worry if you win you could go as a couple, you don't have to borrow any friends' children if you win!"

    They even favourited it :)

I'd bump the thread, but usually enter by end date (literally on that date) so often too late really to tell everyone. Starting to enter just holidays first, so if I get a response early enough, I'll add a post to the comp listing.

2024 wins: *must start comping again!*
  • We are a family of 2 adults and a child just turned 13 and i have continued to enter 2+2 under 12 comps in the hope that as i only want three places it would even itself out! - or i could pay the difference.

My thought is if i win and they say no, then i haven't lost anything

Although more and more comps are saying no school hols, which its very frustrating as i would not take my son out of school and i cannot get the time off either as i work in a school

I thought I had read "something somewhere" that they couldn't advertise a prize as a family holiday if all school holidays were black out dates?
  • There's only me and my partner so I don't enter these ones, would rather a typical 'family' ie a person or couple with children win them.
