Hi Knightrider14,
I have received a similar PCN from CPM under the same circumstances as you. Please could you share the outcome of your appeal so it will be helpful for to me decide whether to take this further or end it quickly.
Thanks0 -
This thread started 1.5 years ago and has had no further update since October of last year. The OP last visited the MSE website (not necessarily this forum) over 3 months ago. It's unlikely that he/she will see your request.
You could PM him/her (an email will be generated to them), but by far your best avenue to pursue would be to start a new thread of your own so you can get the most up to date advice. A lot of water has passed under the private parking bridge in the past 12 months.
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky? Most of what you might need to challenge a private PCN is included therein. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi sgk001, apologies for the delayed reply and apologies all I should have updated the thread after I received my response. In the end my appeal was granted as UKCPM didn't even bother to provide any evidence to POPLA as clearly they knew this would be a waste of time. Although as Umkomaas states this was quite a while ago and I'm not sure how things have changed since then.
Good luck with your appeal I'd definitely say although it is a fair bit of stress and aggro it ultimately saves you money and more importantly stands up for these completely unfair and disproportionate fines.0 -
