The Advents start in 185 days time!
209 days until Christmas!
In less than a month the days get shorter too - just thought I would just squeeze that one in too! :j

:eek:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Any other company, I would have said "fair enough", but considering it's the National Lottery, who makes their money out of people wanting to win, it makes the whole thing quite funny.0

Have a wee nip in that case:
Don't mind if I do.Ohhh yes weeowens!!! Here is my glass...
Great first the champers now the whisky; what's going to be left for Christmas?Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -
I fully agree Mulle - and this is just the kind of po-faced double standards that some newspapers would just love - anything to get their teeth out and show them to the Camelot people. It would be just awful if someone inadvertently tweeted it to, say, the Daily Mail wouldn't it?0

Just posting to let you know I've had a call and official email from Camelot about this:
Hi all,
We’d like to assure you that the paragraph in our EuroMillions "32 Country Giveaway" Twitter Competition Terms and Conditions which states “The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to serial competition entrants. The Promoter will have ultimate and final say on who fits those criteria, but as a rule, anyone with over 50% of their Twitter communications as entries into competitions may face disqualification. The Promoter's decision is final.” is by no means intended to be discriminatory in any way. It is in fact designed to discourage spammers, duplicate account holders and entrants who use their Twitter accounts solely as a means to enter online competitions.
The paragraph doesn’t guarantee that we’ll disqualify any entrants whose Twitter feeds contain over 50% competition entries, but rather allows us the right to do so if we feel it is necessary to protect genuine entrants. Simply, we may choose to exercise this right in order to ensure that the competition is fair for all followers and fans of The National Lottery.
Moving forward, we’ve taken on board all your valued comments and will certainly be looking in to making changes where necessary.
Thanks to all who took the time to share their thoughts with us and please do get entering! If you have any further questions we’ll be happy to help via our Social Media channels on Facebook or Twitter.

They are entitled to limit entry almost as they like but someone who uses their twitter account solely to enter competitions can be just as much a "genuine entrant" as someone who does other things with twitter.0 -
What's the point of putting up a comp and then saying that people who enter comps aren't eligible?0

I think I would be more inclined to bar people who post some of the mindless babble that's on Twitter at times.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
