Hi All
In my initial appeal to the PPC, I stated that should they persue their claim, I would charge them for loss of earnings (very similar to your template). After receipt of their threatening letters and about taking court action despite an appeal taking place, I sent the PPC 2 further letters/invoices to pay for loss of earnings having to deal with their bully invoice
1. To provide a 40% discount if they paid up before the appeal was heard and providing them 14 days to make full payment. I provided them with my full appeal that I made to Popla.
The PPC did not respond.
2. After the appeal was heard and I won, I sent them a second letter with an invoice + added on 10% for accountancy fees. The 14 days is nearly over.
The PPC has still not responded and I believe unlikely to respond.
I have sent all communications to the PO Box they have listed on the back of their letter as a place for communications. I have kept all recordings of proof of posting.
Would like to check if there anything further I should do before I continue to go down the SCC route?
Thanks

Advice.... Move on.
You will get absolutely nowhere and are just wasting more and more of your time.
Get over it.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Thanks McKneff. I am ready to move on, but at the same time consider it as a learning opportunity (I have some time on my hands to waste) to potentially help stop thuggish behaviour from companies. Anyway just found some stuff :-)**********************************************

Loss of earnings... in sending letters?
10% for accountancy fees?
Wow... your as much of a chancer as they are.
I trust you will be able to prove these losses? Because that's what damages is about - not speculative charges0 -
Well life is an adventure to find out boundaries :-)**********************************************

Not sure why the others were so derisive. Biker Paul on Pepipoo served a small claim on PE and another poster got a settlement from NGP of a couple of hundred quid. And Vinci lost in small claims when a guy took them to court for an unjustified PCN (easy to Google, that was a few hundred as well).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-Mad. I just wonder who the good parking companies are who operate honestly and professionally?**********************************************

Hmmmm...well I did read about a car park where TPS were operating a £12 PCN which was blogged about here:

That's it - that's the only one I can think of that's half 'reasonable'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do the BPA take complaints about their members seriously? Reading through the posts, it does appear that the PPCs on many occasions have breached the code of professional conduct as outlined on the BPA's website. In particular, 4.1.2 (see http://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Code_of_Professional_Conduct_Revised_August_2011_-_small_for_printing.pdf) second point about misleading others**********************************************

You mustn't forget that the BPA (Ltd) is not a regulatory body in any way, shape or form. They are a members' club whose only real source of funding is from their own members, the PPCs.
So whose side do you think they are on?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I thought the BPA was a channel for the DVLA to decide who they can release our details to? How does the motorist complain about parking companies who conduct themselves unprofessionally? Can we allow the DVLA to continue releasing our details to thugs?**********************************************
