Pay as you go help
I am a newby to Pay As You Go. I have just brought a phone and a T-mobile £10 smart pack, only to found out that the smart packs credit do not roll over. I hardly use my phone and previously was paying £5 a month on contract. There is no point in me paying £10 a month, I may as well have a monthly contract.
Is there any pay as you go that will roll over credit? I would rather stick with an EE powered provider as I know I can get good reception with them.
I would be grateful for any help!

if you hardly use your phone, it doesn't really matter what payg sim you put in it - just don't sign up to any smartpack or payg bundle. So just get a bog-standard t-mobile or Orange sim card, put that in your phone, and top up as required.0

The word pedants’ top 10I have just brought a phone and a T-mobile £10 smart pack,
Absolutely. All bundles normally last for a month. Don't buy them, and your credit will be used in a true PAYG manner, i.e. only when you use airtime:only to found out that the smart packs credit do not roll over. Standard charges are 30p/min for UK calls and 12p for texts.

If you don't use it the credit will last forever, but you normally have to make a chargeable call or send a text at least once every 6 months to keep the sim alive.
If you use the phone regularly, not occasionally, there are many virtual networks that use EE signal, but are much cheaper: Cheapest orange/tmobile payg tariff ?Is there any pay as you go that will roll over credit? I would rather stick with an EE powered provider as I know I can get good reception with them.0
