My point exactly - if someone so useless can get a job, why can't you?

Umm... because [STRIKE]IBS[/STRIKE] IDS lied on his CV and others may be more honest?

I wish they would give me a job at job centre for 28 K a year .What a simple job , what do they actually do apart from saying sign here please?

They don't earn anything near that - advisers are bottom tier, and, to be fair, they are getting all the !!!!! heaped on them, from above, and can do nothing but shovel it downwards to clients. :wall:

In fact, DWP staff are the most poorly paid of all civil servants:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/05/02/iain-duncan-smith-dwp-living-wage_n_5252267.html

Everyone, staff and clients, know that the WP is costly, a waste of time and ineffective, but all governments need to feel they are appeasing certain groups, and this does that. However, some of the more intelligent newspapers, which obviously doesn't include the DM, by definition, understand more:

Statistics get shuffled and manipulated, and it never seems to occur to Daily Mail readers to wonder why, if their hero, Dismal Duncan Smith, is doing so well, the welfare bill is rocketing at a level never seen before.....

I have to say when I was signing on there was only one who I will politely describe as a daily mail reader. The rest appeared to be doing a decent job under difficult circumstances.

No, it's not the staff who are the problem, (and most would not read the DM lol), it's the more gullible of the general public who are the problem!

Some DWP/JCP staff are power mad, but the vast majority are normal, decent people just trying to earn a crust, and getting no thanks from any direction.

It's the system and the politicians that create the chaos.
