Work Programme is a joke!

I guarantee that the majority of daily mail readers will vote for tighter and stricter rules than there currently is.
There you go, corrected it for you.
Unless of course if you have evidence of what you are guaranteeing.
Dear Lord imagine a country run by Daily Mail readers! the UK would go straight down the pan. Then again with UKIP getting more popular this could be a possibility.11K Challenge

No, it's not how I deal with things at all. If I had to follow rules to get benefits, and wanted those benefits, then I'd follow the rules, but I'd separately do what was needed to find work on my own.
I spent a little while out of work seven years ago, and had a face to face meeting at the job centre at the beginning. They asked what jobs I'd consider, and I told them it had to be a banking job, on six figures, as anything else would damage my CV too much, and I was not willing to do it. They told me that they'd accept this, but that I had six months, and after that would have to take the first job offered that I could do, and I said that this was more than fair.
Their money, their rules.
I am prepared to take any job offered , have been on jsa for over 12 months now with not one offer of job from job centre .I am not just sitting around waiting for them to offer me something either .The advisors do nothing , they should just get rid of all them and just have a few at each job centre for people who feel they need to speak with them .0 -

In a democracy the government is the servant of the electorate, not the other way round!
I do hate this 'OUR Money' 'OUR Taxes' crap. It was your money, but you pay taxes for services provided by the government. You don't do your shopping at Tesco then ring up the CEO and tell him he should be paying his employess less/more. Same applies here, complain yes, like you would to any other body who you give money too, but don't expect to have the final say and feel like you have some right to decide what the money is spent on or right to throw scorn on people on benefits because you think they are spending 'YOUR money'.11K Challenge

The job center isn't there to give you a job, just help you find one. People are very quick to attack the front line staff of the JC but none of this is their fault, yes you have some institutionalised ones who have been there too long and are too bitter. But the majority have to do what the boss says, the boss being IDS. The JB is all about getting people off benefits now, regardless of how they do it -this isn't the front line JC staffs fault.11K Challenge

Who the hell do you think is paid 28K a year at the JC. I worked there for a while and the only people of that kind of money where senior managers. The front line people, the people who you see when you sign on are on barely 15K. The advisors are on just shy of 20k i beleive.11K Challenge

You think 15K is too much. HA! In the same vain then are bankers worth more than soldiers, are bus drivers worth more than soldiers, I get paid a lot more than a front line soldier does - am i worth more than a solder - absolutely not. There are people in position who get paid a lot less then some but benefit the public and society a lot more. Unfortunately that is capatalism for you.11K Challenge

I just feel like this as most of the advisor's I have met have been clueless .I heard an advisor telling someone the other day that you are not entitled to free dental care while on jsa .I manged to speak to the lady after and told her she is entitled .0 -

This is not their fault though, this is a training issue so if a problem with management. Having worked at JCP the training leaves a lot to be desired, but then the advisors are now just treated as sanction hounds. I cannot speak for other JCP location but the one i worked at 95% of the front line staff and advisors were there because they genuinely wanted to help, they actually cared. I still think most of them do, problem is they are hated because they are being forced to follow this rhetoric laid out by this government so they get the flack. They won't/can't leave because they fear not being able to find employment again - like a lot of people.
Also on a side note i'm getting a bit sick of hearing how public sector worker are paid so much. Public Sector workers are not paid extortionate amounts compared to the private sector, there are no golden pensions anymore etc. This is all dross span by the likes of the Daily Mail.
Companies like G4S, Serco, CAPITA are all too happy to take multi million pound contracts from local government but no one lays into them about pay, fraud, miss spend money etc.11K Challenge
