Posting photos from an iPad

There were two 'img' options; one was normal, and when I previewed it, it was largish, the other was a thumbnail option, which I used here. I assume the thumbnail is the one to use most of the time? Or a least to preview the post first, to ensure the size is ok?0

I have my options set for the re-sizing when I upload to the site, that way I don't need to think about it again, it has been that long since I used it, I can't remember which size I chose but I have never changed it since.
Hmm. There aren't any sizing options that I can see, on the Photobucket app.(I just lurve spiders!)

Joansgirl :A very kindly found this, which sums up what I have managed to do so far:-
"How to post photos from an iPad:-
1. Get The Photobucket app from app store. ( not any substitute that looks good, lol... Trust me..) it's free.
2. Load photos onto iPad from camera if that is where they are. Otherwise they are in your "Photos".
3.Go to photobucket thru the iPad app. Log on if needed by setting up an 'account'. I don't need to after the first time.
4. Make an album or select album you want by clicking "my albums" at bottom menu
5. Click what looks like movie camera icon ( second from left on top menu)
6.At top of this drop down menu, you can choose "new album" or "refresh". New album if that's what you want, OR scroll down drop menu to select which album.
7.Select Up arrow at top menu of opened album to load pictures from iPad to Photobucket album
8. Select photo library ( I have only used it this way with photos already uploaded to "photos" app)
9. Your photo library will appear and you need to tap picture you want. Several can load simultaneously, but don't go so fast you have 7 or so "waiting". You will see on the left of your screen that they are loading, or waiting, or processing.
That's it for loading to Photobucket.
To post from Photobucket to Forum:-
1. Go to Photobucket app if not already opened.
2. Select 'my albums', at the bottom menu
3. Select which album by clicking on second icon from left on top menu (looks like movie cam), and select album from drop down menu - the whole album will open no matter whether they were loaded from iPad or iMac, etc.
4. Tap the picture or video you want to post
5. At top menu, select chain icon (second from left)
6. Select img code by tap. (It is now copied, ready to paste on forum posting box). It will say 'copied to clipboard'.
NB. There is also an img thumbnail option, useful for posting photos as small ones, rather than taking up loads of page space on the post.
NB. Do not use the 'direct' option, as this will not work, whether you post straight to the page or using the little 'mountain ' image-posting icon to insert the URL address.
7. To return to the album, the name is shown in upper left corner, just select it.
8. If choosing to post more than 1 at a time, You can paste them on the "notes" app and then when ready with several there, select all, copy - and then they can be pasted in posting box.
There may be other ways but I have found this reliable. N.B. If you go to photobucket by way of Safari, etc, instead of using the iPad App, it will NOT work. Parts of the sequence will, but not all. Very, very frustrating."(I just lurve spiders!)
