Hmm need to start thinking about the fancy dress theme folks :rotfl:
Whatever floats your boat, Knitwitch, as long as you can run up and down the field and do some serious ankle-bashing.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Very violent sport is hockey.
Whilst I'm shocked to hear such a story of a fellow fizz-loving individual, good on ya!
The only fight I've ever been in was during a hockey match. Biggest lady on the opposing side decided to have a go - I wasn't having it! I'm really quite small (nicknamed twinkle toes in sport because of my ability to dart between players relatively unnoticed!) - she was really quite big - I WON!!:money:
Oh YES!!!! Have we got a good team or what?One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD 9 for me todayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

All this talk of hockey,I'm not sure that I played hockey at school,but my sister has memories of the P.E. teacher shouting 'Drrrrive the ball!' in a ghastly screech.:eek:
Ok, marmite, here is a summary of the rules. Stick thing with hook on the end, little hard round ball. Charge like a lunatic, using the stick to drive the ball before you, and making sure you clout as many ankles as possible before knocking said ball into the goal.
If you are the goalie you get to wear big paddy things on your knees. The reason for this will become clear once the game starts.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Well claiming number 11 please :eek::eek::eek: AND 6 in a row :j:j
So can I dress as Agnes/Perdita X Nitt then? :rotfl:Must use my stash up!0 -

our school playing field was across the road from the coast line, and our PE kit consisted of a polyester/nylon skirt that barely covered our polyester/nylon knickers :eek:Cheryl0 -
A lovely bit of contrast there......now, wonder what Igor wants to wear? Oh, didn't I mention that, as well as organising the catering, he also wants to play on the team?One life - your life - live it!0
