    NSD 2 achieved :)

I don't want to go into the barcl**ys overdraft as they're hiking the fees up soon, so thats a good incentive to keep the no-spending going!

NSD 5 today. Dd2 decided she wants things from frozen for her birthday and they are hard to come by unless you want to pay way over the ods for them. Trying to get the houe tidy before the big day hut I seem to be going backwards at the moment.

Ventured into the realms of YS shopping today at Mr T E S Cohen's food emporium. Well, I've bought YS stuff for ages but this is the first time I deliberately went out at five pm to shop, normally I shop earlier in the day. Not a bad little haul, a lump of cheese for 41 pence, 4 slices ham for 60 pence, bag of chopped root veg for 35 pence, some reduced price bread, reduced price naans for tonight's curry....and some reduced price raspberries to make home made ice cream with when DS finishes his last GCSE on Friday.
So, not a NSD, but I spy a couple lurking around at the weekend....Igor! Unleash the Narglehounds, we are going hunting again!

Whaddya mean, Igor, you're too busy? What are you doing with that cement mixer???

Oh, I see.....but that is a heck of a lot of marmite-flavoured buttercream for marmite's cake.....oh, you intend to use the rest for the Solstice shindig? Go on, then, tell me what foul concoctions you have planned for us......

Mmmmm, lovely.......can I suggest something? The sprout curry....yes, lovely stuff that it is, perhaps we should sacrifice our share of it and let the other team have it. The other hockey team, idiot! Yes, the hockey match is definietly on.....we have the following [STRIKE]conscripts[/STRIKE]volunteers who are ready and eager to play....marmite, Knitwitch, 2trry, Shire Piskie, beanie, Hubert......only 5 more needed plus a couple or six reserves (the NSD gang play hard, you know!). Just remind Hubert that 2 pairs of pink stilettos are no good when it comes to running around and saving goals.

That is hardcore!I don't include public transport (bus or tube) as a spend.I used to count train fares, but no longer,as it's essential.:)

I don't count my monthly ticket, that's essential but anything over and above that I count.

I DID IT BTW! 4.66 miles to be exact. And all for free (and probably a little stiffness tomorrow)

So another NSD for me today. I make that NSD 6 :)

    Very violent sport is hockey.

Whilst I'm shocked to hear such a story of a fellow fizz-loving individual, good on ya!

The only fight I've ever been in was during a hockey match. Biggest lady on the opposing side decided to have a go - I wasn't having it! I'm really quite small (nicknamed twinkle toes in sport because of my ability to dart between players relatively unnoticed!) - she was really quite big - I WON!!:money:

t2rry you have done well! You must be a regular runner?

All this talk of hockey,I'm not sure that I played hockey at school, but my sister has memories of the P.E. teacher shouting 'Drrrrive the ball!' in a ghastly screech.
