So yesterday was a fail but I will be making up for it today. I suspect OH will put some petrol in today but I'm not counting that as it is for work and he will claim it back.

I am being SO MSE today, staying at a friends house who lives in my city of work and rather than paying the train or bus fare to get out to her, I shall be RUNNING there! Just a measly 5 miles or so...:money:

After a lot of self-debate I've decided to claim yesterday and today as NSD #7 and NSD #8

The problem was that I've bought newspapers both days, and they aren't on my list of 'allowable spends'. Had I bought them to read then I'd have classed them as spends. But they've been purchased for tokens (to claim free food from Icel@nd) and haven't even been opened yet! If it were possible to use the requisite number of tokens from the same day I'd have bought enough copies on one day (and Monday was a spend day anyway), but they all have to be from different days. I'd put the money aside on Monday, so have decided not to count the purchase of a paper for 3 days (tomorrow will be the last as I was given a token on Saturday) as a spend that loses an NSD - but am counting as an allowable spend, so can't claim them as total NSDs.

:eek::eek: to using that dreaded 'F' word!

    Oops :silenced:

I meant yesterday was an unforeseen setback, the f* word was said with a small 'f' only.

That said, I must learn from this error with grace and dignity whilst admitting my mistakes

...at least the sprout curry might help with my weight loss..._pale_
