Camping Refund entitlement?

They weren't very happy with the fact I had complained and starting throwing various false accusations, none of which stacked up in reality. I sent a second reply which they failed to respond to at all.

Instead of going down the letter before action route, I decided to put in a dispute on PayPal for the first payment (one nights stay). I explained in my dispute that our time had been cut short and felt we were entitled to some refund.

Her response on PayPal wasn't very gracious either. More overblown accusations (even more ridiculous than the ones in the first letter), the suggestion that the PayPal payment was technically a deposit for the first night, therefore we were not entitled to a refund as we were allowed to stay that night and also the suggestion that this was merely an attempt to recoup lost funds due to poor conduct on site. She also said the reason she hadn't replied to my subsequent e-mails was because her decision was final. Nice.

Upon checking her website it has actually been updated and looks quite a bit different to when I booked with a load more details regarding booking and the first payment. It now states you are paying for the "first night", however at the time it merely stated that the initial payment was for the equivalent of "one nights stay" without actually specifying which night that was. Looks like they've closed that loophole to prevent people using PayPal to get refunds. Proper business ethics that.

PayPal found in my favour anyway, so fairly satisfied. Will be writing a review on TripAdvisor though.
