LW, it is now all on the maidens, raining again but we had just got back to the car before it started and DS3 enjoyed being out. We visited a disused railway station which had a reconstructed platform. His bus goes past the steps everyday and yet none of us knew it was there!

Just having a cuppa then time to make dinner and iron the somewhat damp shirts. DH away to the states tomorrow so need to locate a couple of bits for him too.

Well done HB I really could do with munching some big frogs.

    Evening flyladies

I've been at the paid stuf ffor hours and hours today; cleaned six bathrooms, vacuumed three lots of stairs and dusted and vacced everything in between. Got home to find the house a bomb site and DH asleep, apparently he was tired after HHI and vacuuming --without moving any of the carp on the floor I would hasten to add  I am so cross! DSD had cleaned out her hammy and there was bedding all over the kitchen, no way of telling if it was clean or dirty stuff so I got in and had to sweep the floor and disinfect all the surfaces before I had even taken my shoes off. I'm getting well and truly peed off with being be only one who ever does anything here :(

Anyway, roast dinner prepped and cooking, our bed stripped and remade and the bedding in the WM, another load on the airer and a third waiting for the machine to finish. Cleaned my seventh(!!!) bathroom of the day and tidied all the shoes which are scattered all over the hall.

Step skids WILL be WUDUPAing after dinner; any arguements or the slightest dirty look and I will BLOW MY STACK...

Oh Fizz, you and me both, but what to do about it? I came home the other day after 4 hrs paid work plus 40 minutes travelling and OH had been at home all morning. He was very pleased with himself because he had hoovered the kitchen floor. Thats it, nothing else, just the kitchen floor. Pots in the sink and on the draining board, clothes on the floor, beds unmade but at least the kitchen floor was clean. Sigh.

So today, walked 5 miles with the dog, washed the work tops, cleaned the oven, toaster and microwave and washed and hoovered the kitchen floor. Back to the paid stuff tomorrow. Early night I think.

I ended up spending the afternoon sat on the floor helping DD make an alpha bracelet for her friend, which she still hasn't finished. I did make a start on her shoes, but didn't get far. WM x3 done and dry, a few bits on hangers that I won't put in the TD.

DD is currently in the bath (didn't realise the time so we ended up having a very late tea!), I'm going to straighten up, stash the remains of yesterdays craft project in the craft draw (un-used beads) and take a box of books upstairs.

I had a sort out yesterday and managed to clear about 30 of DD's books which she is way too old for or she doesn't like into the charity pile (with her permission, some were kept) and since they're charity shop purchases mainly anyway DD is happy to pass them on to someone else to enjoy ;) I also did DVDs (mainly mine!) but I'll attempt to sell those first ;)

Just heard DD get out the bath, I should really go make my bed as I've just remembered its not made yet :o

Fizz hugs that is a lot of bathrooms in one day! I feel your pain.

Ironing all done (including school shirts for next week) and washing up all sorted too. I really do feel I'm only just keeping on top of the daily tasks atm.

Off to bed soon as last night was too late.

    Been a busy bee today

fetched DD and took her to work and them home again

emptied out and washed the shelves in the cupboard under the sink, tidied, sorted, reorganised, it looks super shiny!!!

I have also turfed out and tidied 6 drawers in the sideboard, only 6 to go!
I have a pile of junk to be sorted into the 6 I haven't yet emptied so I'll do that tomorrow,
BUT I also have a box of stuff to be recycled and the recycling bin is full but will be emptied tomorrow (and I may be able to sneak some into next door's bin as I usually put them out and he gets them in later)

Also WMx3 and TDx2 (managed to get the towels dried on the line)

And cleaned the hob, wiped the work surfaces, cleaned the table

Tomorrow I WILL vax the carpet in the bedroom and the living room (high traffic area) and change and wash the bedclothes

    night all

    bed time

I admit I haven't really done much today - got 2 loads of washing done and dry (folded but not packed away), w/up done and dishwasher loaded ready to go on in the morning. Food taken out of the freezer ready for the slow cooker tomorrow morning. I'm off work for the week as it's half term (off the day job, but still doing self employed stuff) so it means I'm at home with the oldest every morning and then I have both of them in the afternoons. I'm looking forward to spending some time with him on his own - I've missed it! We have a list of jobs to do (from taking him for a haircut on Thursday to him requesting that we make pasta on Wednesday - this could go badly wrong!!)

I've run round the wash basins this evening but will tackle the toy mountain on the floor tomorrow morning with his help! (Just in time for his little brother to come home from nursery and tip them all out again!)

PE kit for school all washed and back in the bag ready to head back there next week, bank accounts reconciled and spreadsheet for holiday updated with what is booked and what we still need to pay for, so more of the boring paperworky type stuff done rather than anything that makes a difference to look at!!

Had a busy day as I had to go into work early today - they had an early meeting - and as DH still at home decided lunch was easier than dinner (and he could WUWUPA) while I was at work :rotfl: instead of ME doing it later this evening. (It worked)

Way past my bedtime (especially as the alarm is set for 8am!) but I've got lots of niggling jobs I never seem to be able to get done with DD around done. Also made a big dent in the washing up as I was sick of DD claiming she couldn't fit any more in the drainer & putting the basically clean pans "in to soak" There's now 2 plates, a pair of scissors and the deep pan plus rack from the remoska to wash as they really wouldn't fit in the drainer :D Fruit bowl is filled with lots of fruit so she can snack on that, my flowers have been sorted so faded/brown have gone, and I've nipped the bottom off all the stalks as well as topping up the water :) Some wet items are on the maiden, and the ironing pile is back in its box instead of spread all over the sideboard

Also just used henry to deal with a spider. It was a biggish one and sitting on the bottom of the stairs waiting to get me :o I do put them out using a glass & card normally (I even have a dedicated wine glass in the cleaning cupboard for this purpose:rotfl:) but over a certain size up henry they go, usually followed by me vacuuming a room or two. My neighbour probably thinks I've lost it vacuuming at 1am :o

    Personal:
    Labels in uniform
    Belt loops on trousers
Sewing repairs (School bag, quilt cover, my small bag)
DD shoes - made a start and its going to take longer than I thought!
Laundry - 2 loads for Tuesday
    Shredding
Work (paperwork) Tue - delivery, Thur - order in
Clean bins out - Next week when the recycling bin is emptied as well, but only if all the builders from over the road haven't parked in front of my house again. :rotfl:
Print calender for rest of the year
Sort DD's clothes / drawers / box pile
    Bake (rolls, cake, twinks)
Understairs cupboard /dig out DIY supplies
Sort out shopping list for DIY shop so I can start the decorating!

Tuesday is a day of HHC challenges with DD in her room in between baking bread rolls and me sewing labels etc. Might treat her to chips for tea IF she gets her room done as I need to go out and see a customer tomorrow evening.

    Right, bed!!
