Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Thanks to Dusty for last weeks thread

New style this week depending on how much time and motivation you have. The idea is that even if you are really busy you don't need to fall off the wagon!

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots
are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie
- stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

As it is Half Term in most areas of the country I have added a Young Helper list for the children that are at home this week. It would be lovely if the little ones could help mummy or daddy out :D

Thank you to Natty for this week's list and to Dusty for keeping us in order last week. My kitchen needs a bit of TLC today - when I went down just now to make my favourite cuppa of the day, I realised that although the worktops are clean and tidy, the floor is gross

I fell into bed at 9.00 last night because I couldn't keep my eyes open and I have slept for nearly 8 hours :) Making an early start means uninterrupted work for a couple of hours, and [STRIKE]when[/STRIKE] if the sun comes round to the back after lunch I can legitimately take time off - unfortunately it looks as if the best part of the day will be until 8 am and we shall have more rain this afternoon and almost every day this week. DH will have a good excuse not to finish oiling the decking :(

    Morning All

I'll join in as much as I can this week seeing as it's HT. I still haven't finished my BR - I got side tracked last night - so that's the first job. However, I have washing on the line and I have stripped DS's bed so that's in the WM too. His mattress also has a cover which zips on - are these easy to get off and on again as it could do with a wash?

I'll get dressed first I think and then make a start. My original plan was to have a bath but seeing as it looks like it's going to be a nice day then I might tidy up the front later and have a bath afterwards.

    Have a good day all

Polly squawking outside.. not sure what she is after.. oh.. yes I am... She is wanting Mimi or Moomin to open the bedroom window so she can get in!! pest!!

Cuppa made and just going to eye up the bank account and then I shall knit a square while supping my tea and crack on with the back room.

Ooh Squeak and Moomin just surfaced.. feed them first then

6 separate lots of stationary traffic on way back up M1 on Saturday:mad: - next time will leave later but had lovely lovely time.

Pigpen I would gladly help - if you will help me in return - fancy a brief hols on Lancs coast?!!

Not really with you all on the lists though as have loads of important "stuff" to do tomorrow and vol jobs and DA.(Aunt) taking out to fit in as well as tidy and clean whole house top to bottom for family meal on Sunday!!!!!

    Today's list
    HHI
    HHtidy
    Vol job 1
