Nah, I doubt they'll boot you off (crosses fingers) just be repentant and learn from your mistakes!
But really do be realistic with your budget and get an emergency fund (and keep it for emergencies) I remember in the past before I entered into my DMP (and post gambling) I would find myself with nothing for the last week before payday... I knew I'd be ok if I just had £20 but I'd borrow £50, or even £100 and just p*ss the rest away! weirdly, the more I had the faster it went LOL all psychological really...
Good luck and keep posting fella
worst case scenario you can always go to one of the other debt charities and start a DMP with them

You posted on here in February, saying that you had been in severe difficulties six months earlier. The PS4 came out at the end of November 2013...
You need to get your story straight, but I'll leave you to this one...
I paid the ps4 on pre order well over a year ago with some money i won for a bet. It doesnt really matter anyways as its getting sold...DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -

Just a shame you didn't put that money away in case your son needed it then.
It's probably a good idea to knock the gambling on the head now, too.0 -

THIS is exactly what i have been doing, lending far more than i need. I suppose its a mental thing after struggling for so long you all of a sudden think you get rich by loaning more

Yeah your right mate, but just have to lay it on thick to SC in the hope they keep me on, as i would like to stay with them because they have been brilliant for me so far!

Yep in hindsight i wish i had done, rarely used the ps4 tbh. Gambling stopped when problems started to be fair, and wasn't a huge gambler anyways just the odd tenner here and there. Thanks for advice though.DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
managed to get ps4 back today and sell it for a good price all in a matter of hours.
Ive paid my girlfreind the money she needs and covered my sons nursery fees for the next month. My girlfreind has also had some good news about her job, she may be getting a pay rise very soon which would solve a whole heap of problems.
This would also enable me to make bigger payments to step change and clearing that debt quicker
feel much better about it today and just got to have the phone call with SC about my added debt! DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
Happy to hear your news leigh! Cheers for the update

I'm sure you're anticipating calling SC as much as I am and i'll be sure to let you know how it goes. Gotta keep our chins up!0 -
Spoke to SC this morning. They gave me a slap on the wirsts about adding more debt while i was on a DMP and not notifying them first. Completely fair and warranted.
They then went through the up to date budget and reduced my payment slightly so it would fall in line with current situation. The "new" dmp will start in july. All i need to do now is send SC all my new creditors details and loan amounts etc.
I have sent all a letter to ask them to hold account for 30 days while i seek advice. I have also sent all an email to confirm what i asked in writing.
3 of the creditors have acknowledged this and are awaiting contact from SC. One of them being Mr Lender, who i thought might be the ones who play up a bit. They have been understanding and helpful. Both companies have accepted my request not to phone me at work and to only communicate through letter or email!
I have not heard off the other 3 creditors as of yet, so fingers crossed they react the way the first 3 have
So relieved im now on the right path again, can try and get some sleep at night now without worrying!!!
