:staradmin Hi Everyone and Welcome to the June’s 2014 Bankruptcy Club :staradmin
This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during June 2014. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt. Then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your BR journey. That way you can all stick together, compare notes and be there to support each other during the different stages of your Bankruptcies.
Remember this is your board so keep posting :hello:
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help and you are all welcome. Any important questions that need answering please still post them on the main board, as you will receive more advice and help.
~ Please do not include too much information as the IS (Insolvency Service) are known to frequent this forum and they may identify individual cases, so username and date only, thank you ~
Best wishes

Hello all, my big 'B' day is on the 4th! eeeek
Hi DJ4614 and welcome to June's BR Club, I've added your name to post one
My checklist, what to take to court :-
- Your two copies of 6.27 and 6.28 and the Originals, do not sign them, you do this in front of the clerk. Your completed EX160 if applicable and any benefit letters/forms etc as proof (Important - letters have to be dated within one month of your court date and no later).
- Money for bankruptcy fees.
- Spare change for coffee machine.
- Paper or magazine to read while waiting.
- Change for car park.
- Optional a friend to chat to/hold hand.
NB Do ring the BR Clerk at your court as to what they require from you, as it does differ from court to court.
Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes

Hi. I'm just filling in the 6.27/8 forms and have done the Ex160 for m husband as he has no income. I'm still confused though... I just calle the local court to ask what I need to bring for filing the petition only to be told that they can't tell me as they any advise and I should get independent legal advice??? When I asked I the bankers draft for the fees from my work union which is made out to HMCtS she said no! She told me I have to pay in cash
I can't do that and the union sent the draft made out to the courts for submission within 3 months. Then she said she doesn't normally deal with bankruptcy so she doesn't really know anyway. Feeling really lost now. I also don't have a termination notice from the IVA that failed last year, only the breach notice that they sent in November. Is that enough? I thought the stress was dropping but this is pushing it up again - already on beta blockers and anti anxiety pills through it all
So now just want to bin the forms and hide. All of my views are my own
