A debt relief order is not a cop out it is a realistic option so that you and your children can move forward successfully - good luck
  • ok, spoke to CAP person today as he goes to our church, it seems CAP are still expecting me to pay £700 into the account this week- ummmm no ive had to pay out over £1000 in childcare for this month I think not.

Your circumstances have changed: the debt was a joint debt, was it not, with your OH's income being taken into account in entering into the repayment agreement - so it has to be changed. Keep strong!

now I have all me new payment figures I can be reassessed by CAP, im going to call them tonight and book in as soon as I can. The sooner I tackle this debt the better.
Finally managed to sort out things with ex to get the car back, thank goodness for the kids as they were exhausted walking to school at 7.00 everyday and not getting home till 6.30 (and I made him sign over the log book) in exchange I have signed my wee ford over to him.
At least now I am able to get the kids around everyday so I can stay on placement.
Kids are actually really settled at the moment. Eldest girl is going away this weekend camping and I'm planning to do something nice for the littlies over the weekend.
we re so close to the moors and that's free.
