    Thanks muchly:T

Result too close to call, but possibly Froch won't be as complacent, shall we say, this time round.

Could anyone tell me how long it normally takes for Check Out Smart to confirm your cashback? I uploaded my receipts over 2 days ago now and nothing.

    :(

Checked my balance and no email...just a confirmation to say they've received my receipt.

Yes, all good here thanks Bubbs. I have some news though. I have a new addition to my household. Our nearly 15 year old godson who has arrived today to stay with us.

I won't go into all the ins and outs, I'll just say that he wasn't receiving the care and support at home that he ought to have been :(. Hes very recently been diagnosed with Aspergers.
I know people will think Im bonkers taking on another kid with all Ive had going on :o But, it's not a decision I took lightly or without the views of everyone else who lives here. Quite honestly, the alternative to him coming here was unthinkable :(

As kids go, he's pleasant, polite and well behaved......but quite withdrawn. He gets on well enough with my kids and they are happy for him to be here. I have enough room here for him to have his own space, which is important to him. And one more mouth to feed won't bankrupt us.

The most heartbreaking thing is that my friend (I'm using that term loosely :() his mother offered no resistance to the idea of him living here :(:(. I have no idea how it's going to pan out or for how long it will be. I would like to hope that at some point one of his parents will give themselves a shake and be in a position to look after him the way he deserves.

Other than that nuffin going on here  :rotfl::rotfl:

He will soon learn not to leave chocolate cake on the side for too long:rotfl:

Seriously though I think you are doing what has to be done. I am sure he will become less withdrawn after living in the FC household for a while.
A house full of love is the best upbringing for a child regardless of how crazy the house is.
Is he having to change schools?
When my mother was growing up her cousin lived with them for a few years. His dad was in the Navy and unfortunately his mother was very ill from post natal depression and spent long periods away having shock treatment before she took her own life. My mother and her siblings had a lovely bond with their cousin.

NSD here (if you don't count booking tickets for Peppa Pig World which mum will reemburse me for)

Spent the day coming to terms that my bmf is having to take his ex g/f away with him rather than me simply because I can't do the walking involved. Very upset but nothing I can do about my body.

I expect 17 days of Parrot jokes while I provide lodgings for Rodney. Roxy the lurcher is a darling and I am sure she will love my wendy house:rotfl:

Big Happy Birthday to Nannylala. I hope Westfields was fun.
