I was hoping that the loaf cakes would compare with the 2 for £1.50 at @ but sadly not...:(
These are my shops from yesterday...with a few shopit cash backs on ... T v A, one instore, one cc to use £5 off household code:) online only:)
Also Blossom Hill £1.00 shopit cash back £6.99 t £5.00 @
Double check prices before as its @ price change day. Hth:)
So you were just fleeced again:(. And how dare the more expensive Strawberries (400g at T £2, A 400g £1.50) be a no-show!
500g Strawberries still showing £1.39 price display in Lidl, but no stock left in my store yesterday afternoon. (They work out at lower than £2 for 600g equivalent.) So gain 5p on the cream but lose 50p (Strawberries more expensive than Mr A's expensive price by weight) doesn't seem worth it - maybe cond.spends to knock off but offset this vs an 84p loss on the strawberries even with 'free' cream. Compared to Lidl price adjusted by weight. As you can buy a pot of cream for lower than 84p, it would seem best (if no cond.spends but even they are being devalued by this 'loss') to buy the Strawberries in Lidl and buy the cream elsewhere too.
[Edit: informed 400g of Strawberries were £1 in Farmfoods, so that is/was better price than Lidl.]
Reminds me - the fresh cream is the area I've been skipping over in Morries before last week, as T's price on its cream (on Avs T) was always cheaper - but now M may possibly beat T by volume on the 600ml:wall: single cream. Let me go and check...0 -

Re strawberries think they were £1 for 400g in Farmfoods and they lasted longer than lidls. Was not impressed with last couple of lots from lidl. HthCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
