I am so pleased for you good luck with it, plenty of hard work
better than going to the gym,and something to show for it, make sure you have a seat so you can sit back and enjoy all the hard work, I have seats in all our gardens even the poly tunnel and veggie patches to have a panade and take pleasure in what we have acheived

Good Afternoon everyone
Happy Birthday hornetgirl
I haven't been able to keep up with the thread as much as I would like to so sorry if this is old news. I had a brand match from S yesterday. It said From 2 June you'll no longer have to spend £20 to qualify (for brand match) just pick up 10 different items. So basically same as T's.0 -

My shopping mojo is still very low. My Oh is due back in an hour and I've been tasked to compose a !!!!!! v Sada list.
I don't even really need to go shopping but I seem to be Ohs personal shopper - he has run out of mustard, chips, chip sticks all things he eats and can't live without. Also cat food
I have no idea how you lot manage to write lists with the kids on half term. I've had the phone ringing, someone at the door and then the cats drove me mad. I fed them before I started in the back porch outside thinking that would buy me half an hour, no they all had to troop back in through the patio one at a time. So I shut them all in the kitchen and then the ring leader was scratching on the door
In the meantime we have no printer ink so that's the next thing on the list if I can try and remember who I bought printer ink from before ???.
Is there anything I really need to include on this list to give me a slightly higher TPP?
Or anything I need to get for click snap, shopitize etc - I am getting the Felix for Quidco (we seem to just have Whiskas left which is not surprising)

Can you dry coriander or is it better fresh? By some miracle I got quite a big plant from b and q and I've potted it onto a large pot which is outside now. I expect it will have to come into the kitchen in the winter though.
Reduced to £1.50 :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Another easy-peasy way of preserving left-over fresh rosemary (and other herbs) is to put it all (leaves, stalks etc) in a freezer bag (ziplock kind is best) and stick it in the freezer for a week or two; every so often, give it a shake, and all the leaves will drop off; then, just open the bag and remove the stalks .... job done.
You can leave the bag in the freezer and just use what you want.
I've still got some in my freezer from last summer.:)
Some excellent advice on freezing fresh herbs on the JO forum, esp the first post

Previously I'd thrown away the herb stems, but now I'm going to try the tip of grinding them up for a flavour-enhancer.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
