    Good morning all.

    Strawberry tart anyone?

I have to quote this midwinter, that plate is just like the set of mum's I took to the caravan. :D

She had 8 cups, saucers, tea plates but only 4 dinner plates. I have no idea where it came from originally.

    Tart looks delicious. :T

Good evening!!:) No. Good afternoon - I am totally absent any wall clock with the right time on it at the moment, the batteries seemed to be going down, then the telly remote control stopped working and changed them around - but clock has been stuck on either 12 o'clock, 4 o'clock or 8 o'clock ever since (it moves to the next 'third' and then, normally, runs forward after about 5 or 10 minutes till it reaches the time). Ah:

    MSF signal off-air

Please note that the MSF signal has had to be taken off-air from Saturday evening, 24 May, until late Tuesday, 27 May, at the earliest, due to a technical fault.

Further updates will be posted here when received.

    http://www.npl.co.uk/science-technology/time-frequency/products-and-services/time/msf-outages

The above appears only today (I assume no-one at the website due to the holiday until today).

Hmmm, did we ever have any of these outages before the signal was outsourced to Babcock? Though that's not a point about the 'private sector' - the signal was maintained by BT, which is of course a private company, for many years.

Good job I didn't take the battery out of the bedside clock, but have been pressing for it to receive signal and nothing was there so I suspected as much. Unless I move the bedroom clock down here then back up, I'm having to rely on the television and on the clock on this computer (but only when switched on and that drifting more and more out of time).

Anyway, I was away listening to some music (or what passes as music if that's your opinion of my music/noise:D taste) last night so at least this has distracted away, maybe temporarily:rotfl:, from a long post (or diatribe depending on your view) in regard to that!:rotfl::rotfl::)

I might go over to Morries (for what point I don't know) - was feeling a little bored about that last night but maybe I'm not feeling that now?!? I've other things to do on part of tomorrow, so perhaps I'll do a 'collection' today and do a 'mini' one tomorrow to pick up whatever (in theory whatever) I miss.

I need to know about any Wednesday morning/Wednesday night glitches so please do let me know!!:D:D Or else it's no shop days till we really need anything:rotfl:.

    50p off Debbie&Andrews 97% pork sausages
25p off Lake District Co Fat Free Quark
50p off 2 Mens Pro Formula skincare or shave products

also 40p off LowLow products (page 78)
    and
50p off 50% less sugar ocean spray (page 98)

Just had a look and the quark is down to 62p, so 37p instead of £1.25 with the coupon. I've never tried it but MIL has been doing SW for over a year and I noticed a lot of their recipes use quark instead of cheese, ie in quiches. Might be useful to someone, and if anyone can recommend it, let me know as I've not bulk-bought anything in at least a fortnight and I'm feeling the urge :D
