I didn't get my origins samples either on .com (not quick enough) or through the times freebie (no origins counter nearby
)
BUT I did get a mailing offereing a free 100ml Ginger scrub, plus the freebies, when you order from origins - see codes board for details! :j Hope that helps other bootsers like me!;)
On another note, anyone know what the problem is with .com? Can't get on directly, or via quidco, but only through my history pages?0 -
You've been misinformed. I have topped up DD 02 payg mob several times in Boots using points from my advantage card. The last time was on Saturday.
Did it for the first time last week after reading on here that it was possible. :j The SA had never done it before so we were both surprised when it went through. There is a £50 limit, but not sure if that's just Boots usual limit for a top-up or just for using your points. I would ask again.0 -
I sent my friend to get some Berocca from Boots and she bought 2 boxes but didn't pick up the third for free (the girl needs training LOL). I'm just wondering if it is worth taking the receipt in and asking for the free one. Any thoughts....!?
I've done it before at a differant boots with no probs.0 -
Hi,I tried to use a coupon from a mailing - £5 off a 7x5 photo frame when you buy 10 or more digital prints. I also used a £2.00 off digital prints voucher. When I tried to buy the photo frames with the £5.00 off voucher the till wouldn't let it go through. SA refused to override the till. I had met all the criteria on the coupon, but it wouldn't go through. Any ideas what to do?0

Try another SA, if that doesn't work ask for a manager. Are you sure there's not a problem in using the two vouchers at the same time?0 -
I popped in the Manchester City Centre store today - a few more bargains, but still not brilliant ... got some of the memory cards for £3.49 with the 500 point vouchers from the ACM. Plenty of fridge magnet photo frames for 75p, some Natural Collection make up for £1-2, a few photo frames, some battery chargers ... nothing else seemed that well reduced though. I ended up with some origins bits with the 1000 points for my mum's birthday (working even if you don't have a skincare item it seems ... either that or they include shampoo and handwash as skincare!), the memory cards and treated myself to lunch!

Hi, just been to Boots - couple of things:
The ACM total spend vouchers are still being doubled at my local Boots, i.e. it might only say 75 points, but you get it credited twice so end up with 150.
Also, I picked up what I thought was a Time Delay Lip Plumper, paid for it, looked at my receipt and realised it was a Time Delay Line Smoother (trust me, they're identical!). Felt rather daft, but went to the SA on the perfume counter (always quieter) and asked if she could sort it out for me. I'd paid on a card, so she put my Advantage Card in the machine, then sorted out that I needed to pay £1.50 (Line Smoother was £5.50, Lip Plumper was £7) - I somehow ended up with paying £1.50 but getting 28 points, which is what I'd have got if I'd paid for the Lip Plumper straight off.
It was a hassle and it was completely my fault, but it was rather nice to suddenly have an extra 25 points!
Anyway, hope that helps someone...back to work...0 -
Hi
I was just wondering............... do you have to spend boots points by a certain time or can you carry on collecting for a couple of years or more???
