What is going on with points????

In store I've suddenly stopped getting normal points whenever I use any kind of vouchers - only the bonus points are added.

Online they've started deducting a random number of points from each order - is it not still 4 points per whole £1 spent? An order I put together this morning for ca £56 worked out as missing 49 points & my last 5 online orders all have points missing.

I know it's not huge amounts, but for the amount we spend in Boots, it really adds up!

    Any clues, anyone?

I think the No7 charm bracelet is minging! I'd really like a new mascara and lipgloss (as my little sister pinched the last one bought), but I might wait until there is a new gift!

I bought some avene stuff (a hypoallergenic mosituriser) in the sale yesterday, I'm hoping it will work on my skin (which is so dry it's painful at the moment). Fingers crossed. OH bought some shower gel on BOGOF yesterday and proudly came home with his receipt to show me he had his first 4 point! Bless.

Right you probably all know this but here goes. When i was in Boots on Wednesday i bought 3 clinique items and got the free gift and the 1000 points but thought i would chance my luck for the parenting voucher but she would not add it on so phoned cs last night and they took my advantage card number then said they could not add it on as i had bought and listed all the things i had purchased. I did not have a clue they actually knew what i bought in the shop.

I had something similar on Monday. I bought 3 Estee Lauder items to get 1000 points. Asked if I could use the 750 point Parenting coupon too and the girl had never seen one, she tried to scan it and it wouldn't accept. Anyway, I paid for my items (£58) and she took my card and the voucher off to a manager who added the points manually. So 1750 points was added. I think it does depend on having a willing SA.

EDITED - My mum bought 2 x Blotting Sheets on Wednesday and as the parenting voucher would not go through the clinique girl called over the manager who refused to put it through as he did not believe she is part of the parenting club. As he had the voucher in his hand she asked for it back to use next time and he said they are not allowed to give them back they ae suposed to leep them if they beleive you are not eligible. They eventually gave it back to my mum this once.

I read about someone (I think it was on PTS) who was questioned in Tescos about using baby club type vouchers and her answer was that she's a foster carer who looks after young babies/toddlers and that, in her opinion, make her more than entitled to use the vouchers - worth keeping in mind;)

Just back from boots. Tried the 1/2price (first aid) AC voucher against BOGOF antiseptic cream and the till only took 1/2 off 1 item. I was hoping there would be a new glitch similar to the poo glitch, but no such luck. Anyway, I still only paid 1.09 for 2 items that cost 2.19 each, so not too bad, although I would prefer free, LOL I am glad that I didn't buy the most expensive cream at 4.99. The cheapest is 1.10, which would work out at 55p for 2.I found some nivea visage tinted moisturiser in the sale @2.47 bought 2 as they are buy1get1half price, I also bought real people (yuk! only got it for the 2.00 moc to use at Mr T's) and a pkt of mints. Paid 5.91 and saved 4.53 I didn't get a free hair dye voucher from AC. All I got was a voucher for a 1/2 price hair dye. Has anyone else got this? perhaps boots don't like me anymore!

They've got a nerve. Women these days can have a baby at any age (well, almost!). Didn't a 60+year old lady in Italy have a baby a while ago?

Believe it or not she tried playing the foster carer card but he was still having none of it. The sa was nice but said she could not manually add them so had to get the manager to do it. Have noticed that both the managers in that store are male and they are both.....lets just say bankers.

    male managers!
A better response should be "in a lesbian relationship and have asked our best gay mate to offer his sperm services and a turkey baster for us to have a family , the younger partner is expecting the baby so yes we are entitled to the parenting club vouchers".
I wonder what they would say to that kind of answer!
