Yeah it's just those with the red stickers that are half marked price, the till reduces them automatically, whereas the clearance stickered ones have the price on the sticker manually entered by the SA.
In the store I work in we have the red stickered items on one stand with "half marked price" over them and the clearance stuff on another stand that just says clearance.

hi in our local store today the big signs said summer clearance now half marked price, i was one of the first to be served by an sa who had just come on shift and she was told the red stickered items automatically went through the till at half the red sticker price, but all of the clearance bar coded items had to be manually discounted half price and all of the sa's had calculators, i would take them back in the morning with your recepit and ask them to honour their advertising as even on our cosmetic stands downstairs there is a mixture of red stickers and barcodes all with the half marked price stickers above

Thanks for the info, in the store there was no defination between red stickers and barcoded ones, all were under the 1/2 price signs so think I will take them back and hope for a refund of 50%. THANKS

How strange, we in the main Belfast branch were told that it's only the red stickered items....Boots need to make up their minds

On another note, does anyone know what the Clinique GWP that starts next week will be? It doesn't start til the day after the 1000pts finishes, and I'm trying to work out whether I should buy what I need before the 1000pts finishes and miss out on the GWP, or wait til the GWP starts and miss out on the 1000pts!
